Jarrod Berry under rated skill is his agility and pace so his brother is very much like him but from all accounts a better athlete.. If we get both we will be very lucky.
Let's see how he goes

Normally I would be in agreeance with the probable disagreement with this. However, I believe (and the Medjia) that this 2018 crop is not like any other (we’ll since 2001) and that there should be a special exemption to the rule because of this. In layman’s terms - Let’s Do It!

I think it can wait a bit. We opened this one back up in February and that was the earliest yet. Think we can probably let this year past and some actually footy talk progress and give people a bit of a break. There's always the draft board for those who want to dive in straight away

Next years draft is going to be so much fun and crazy. Not only will we see the introduction of live pick and drafted player trading, there are so many F/S, NGA and Northern academy prospects in the mix, that teams will have to go in with a genuine drafting strategy to pick up their own kids, but to also make sure other teams pay an appropriate and fair value for their kids and not get free hit picks at kids in the open draft pool.

Brisbane should not have been allowed to draft Toby Wooler this year, before we had matched bids on Ballenden and Payne (And Gold Coast should not have been allowed to draft Charlie Ballard when they had Brayden Crossley still on the board). Teams such as St Kilda and Melbourne who had picks in the mid to late 30's and then picks in the mid to late 40's should have bid on the Academy boys, to force the two Northern clubs to burn their early 40's picks on their academy players, instead of being able to draft kids from the open player pool.

2018 draft but anyway...wonder if Thomas Berry is a chance? In KM's top 20

Thomas Berry
Younger brother of Brisbane's Jarrod. Strong contested ball-winner with impressive pace and agility. Dodges and weaves through traffic easily like it is second nature. Among Greater Western Victoria's best players in eight of his 11 games.
Take him. J Berry will be a star. The steal of 2016 draft. If his brother has similar traits then lock him in I say.

Long way out but we are likely going to need a pretty high pick to get Walsh.
Oh I see. I suppose if depends on the strength of the KP prospects.

If the King twins and Lukocius (spelling!) have strong years then the likes of Walsh might be around the pick 5 mark I guess. As you say, a long way out though.

Walsh is the one I want but if he's out of reach, Berry Jr looks a prospect.
I know it's way early to be saying such things, but there's a genuine chance we could get both if we wanted two kids who play similar. At this stage, Berry Jr looks to be a mid second round pick. I know Knightmare rates him a bit higher than most other draft/TAC cup watchers.

So long to go but I'd be astonished for Lukosius to not end up number one. So much like Riewoldt.

One to look out for along those lines is Ian Hill from WA - watched him a few times last year and has some serious talent.
Yeah Hill is a genuine top 10 talent according to all draft watchers. It's just his height could see him slide a little if he doesn't grow another couple of inches.
