It is no big deal really. When they come it is a " yep, beat another bottom 6 side but failed when you have played a top 8 side both times"

Had to laugh at the Port Puffers at half time.

Charlie Dixon has 3 goals to half-time and the texts come flooding in. He'll kick 7, no he'll kick 8.

He managed another goal for the game. Against that "opposition", and I use that term advisedly.

You can only beat who is in front of you and that's what Port did and did well, just shaggered Brisbane didn't apply anything.

The difficulty in trying to assess Ports form is the match from today.

They started the year beating Sydney and trumpeting how much of a great win it was and set their season up. And it did, gave them confidence. Last week Port flogged Carlton , absolutely Brisbaned them.

And today Carlton played Sydney

Flat track bullies. Lost to 2 decent teams and beat up on 3 shit teams and beat the bottom team.

Basically no injuries.

Wait until they play WB and Geelong and they'll fall back a bit.

We've beaten them already, with about 5 missing and 1 bloke ripping a hammy at the start of the last.

We shouldn't discount them, but we are better.

Also, great to see Matty Wright playing well again this year. Copped an unfair wrap here.

They couldn't match it with us and GWS, we'll see where they are really at when they play Geel & WB.
