What the umpire said to him on the field is damning and imo unnecessary.

If Ryder gets one week for an off the ball punch then I can't see how Greene can get any more than that.

Spoke to someone who was involved in the 'incident' at the mosley last weekend.
Apparently there was no beating up on a woman and there was no jackson captain save em all love story.
What they told me is that there were 2 groups of drunk people and jackson got shitty when they were being too loud and rawkus in his mates pub just generally being drunk wankas. When the noise didnt go down and jackson got them outed from the pub a scuffle broke out. Punches were exchanged and no women were harmed in the altercation.
The pub owned by gray and boak has no evidence on cctv of the fight apparently. How convenient. Port Adelaide making up stories to cover their ass.

The Greene one was not low impact imo ... that was a full swinging arm punch to the chops.
Mumford intended to hurt Libba - no doubt. There is no rule against that. The biggest issue Mummy is gonna have is that the player had his arms pinned and the head hit the ground first, then Liberatore went off with concussion. He'll get weeks for that I reckon. If he had just smashed the body into the ground he'd be clear.

Considering Trengove was not charged with anything I think the narrative Port have put up about Trengove being innocent is probably true.

The umpire only decides it was a dangerous tackle after calling for a ball up and seeing Libba on the ground, he's already looked around to the other umpires. This tells me he's guessing it was dangerous due to the outcome, not the action.
As for the MRP, Mumford's body follows Libba's as it turns/twists, I don't think it's Mumford driving the action, more it's what both are doing in the contest.
It's a great tackle but I'm sure the MRP will pull out the "the onus lies with the tackler" line.
