It opens things up for us going forward. Some clubs refuse to deal with each other. Apparently WCE struggle to get deals done as do swans.

We are jettisoning a lot of salary cap. Maxy will get a nice little increase I imagine, but I am now asking “what else”. Rory Sloane next year anyone hahahaha.
We'll get him cheap next year by overpaying for Lever this year. It's called the Melksham principle

I think we will struggle to deal with Adelaide but we won't be the only ones.

The extra list slot really intrigues me. Wonder if Mullet is in the works, would be a very handy depth option.

The very interesting option next year, assuming we have the cap room, is Dahlhaus...FA.

Mullet got delisted, we won’t trade for him...
Alright college boy. Any other wild stabs in the dark? Menzel? I know we don't need people who cant tackle - but we just got rid of one so maybe we put another non tackler back in his place?

Gee, that Stringer trade, and we thought we were robbed!
you have to imagine that when the Bulldogs originally contemplated moving on Stringer, they would have had a top 5 pick in mind.

It's all gone very badly since and there just wasn't an option to back out. I would have liked to get Stringer - his best footy is amazing. But the fact that interest came from so few clubs makes me wonder if there is a general feeling out there that whatever his problems are, they are just too much work

The worst one is Collingwood picking up some unknown Sydney rookie, a future 3rd and Pick 70 for Collingwood's future 2nd rounder.

If you base it off this years' picks, they've effectively paid the points equivalent of a late 2nd round pick, for a player taken at the end of the rookie draft two years ago who hasn't played a game ... absolutely absurd.

yeah that was weird wasn't it?

I'm liking the trend of Collingwood completing at least one out-there trade each year.

Given they all seem to follow the trend of making their team worse, I'm well and truly on board with it.

It's going to be even better next year when Sydney improve their finish, and Collingwood's goes backwards.

I haven’t seen any reports we’ve left the building yet but can’t see a deal going through in the last 25 minutes.
With 20 minutes to go and we haven't left the building ... I absolutely can see us getting something done. You just need to be in the room at 2pm to get it signed off.

Still plenty of time!
