If Coffield slides outside top 10 GWS will take him as a Wilson replacement with Shaw getting on also makes a lot if sense that will allow Higgins to come to us imo

And the average height of KPF and KPD has gone up by 4-5cm since he was drafted. He would still likely be a very effective player, however i don't think he would be as effective if drafted now, as back at the turn of the century.
He's miles off on quite a few thoughTwomey's effort last year. He did pretty well with clubs linked to players: http://m.afl.com.au/news/2016-11-20/callum-twomeys-phantom-form-guide-november-edition
Still remember that game circa 09-11 against Geelong when they were dominant. Had maybe 30 touches and 4 goals and everyone geelong threatened he went into the middle and kicked goals. Superstar.Your entitled to a opinion but you probably just remember the Pav as a old player ..

It's a crapshoot at this stage
If he's good enough, I still think Allen would be suited to a role in the post-Kennedy world.
We'd have a big ruck-forward playing close to goal, and Allen and Darling rotating through the 50 and leading up the wings.
I still want a mid though. I'm still keen for Higgins.
What role does Waterman play?
Very similar role. But I don't think we can put our eggs in his basket just yet.
Fair enough.
After pondering for far too long over this draft Im at the stage where I would prefer to reach a little with 13 if forced to. Meaning all the obvious mid choices are gone.
A cohort of L Fogerty 13, O'Brien / Bailey 21, Kelly '/ Worpel 26, Ballard / Houlihan 32 and a Miller / Krueger at 37 is more preferable than Allen at 13.
Yeah but that's 9 on 1. You need to pick 8 more on the 'A' team so it's equitable.Fair enough.

Charlie Constable with a 7:58 2km time today.
So good chance to be there at 21. I'd be happy with that, depending on who else is there.
What's everyone's predictions for the 1 gimp move we're bound to make with one of our picks on draft day?
Personally i think it's that we will reach stupidly and take Ryan with 37.
Constable was 1 second slower than Rayner. Not good for a midfielder
The guys that just did the time trial are doing it now because they were injured during the combine. If they've had lengthy injury layoffs it's not hugely surprising they'd underperform in an endurance test.
Found this on facebook regarding time trials
The 2km Time Trial
What should you run
5:30 - 6:00 min = Super Elite Athlete (Issac Smith/Mark Blicavs/Ed Curnow)
6:01 - 6:15 min = Elite AFL Player (Billy Hartung/Sam Gibson/Bradley Hill/Johnny Rayner/Patrick Ambrose/Tom Scully)
6:16 - 6:30 min = Slightly Better than average AFL Standard (Jamie Macmillan/Dan Hannebury/Ben McEvoy/Liam Shiels)
6:31 - 6:45 min = Average to Slow Standard (45% of AFL players are in this bracket)
6:46 - 7:10 min = Had a big festive season or is a Key Position player
8:13 min = Worst Performance Ever (Murray Newman 2012)
In that scenario, I would go Constable. A couple of fallbacks would be L Fogarty and O’Brien to take at 13. Yes we are reaching a little but not greatly.Yeah I really don't want Allen at 13.
But if it's the nightmare scenario of all 11 these guys going in the first 12 then I'd be somewhat ok with taking Allen. After these 11 I've really got no idea who I'd want. Maybe Brander, maybe Allen.
