And the average height of KPF and KPD has gone up by 4-5cm since he was drafted. He would still likely be a very effective player, however i don't think he would be as effective if drafted now, as back at the turn of the century.

Your entitled to a opinion but you probably just remember the Pav as a old player ..

Still remember that game circa 09-11 against Geelong when they were dominant. Had maybe 30 touches and 4 goals and everyone geelong threatened he went into the middle and kicked goals. Superstar.

Facebookake? Pfft! You'd do better to take inspiration from and put faith in the power of Liam Duggan's mustache to give you the power of sight beyond sight.

Is that a Thundercats reference?

It appears I judged you hastily...

but we cool now.

Very similar role. But I don't think we can put our eggs in his basket just yet.

Fair enough.

After pondering for far too long over this draft Im at the stage where I would prefer to reach a little with 13 if forced to. Meaning all the obvious mid choices are gone.

A cohort of L Fogerty 13, O'Brien / Bailey 21, Kelly '/ Worpel 26, Ballard / Houlihan 32 and a Miller / Krueger at 37 is more preferable than Allen at 13.

Yeah I really don't want Allen at 13.

But if it's the nightmare scenario of all 11 these guys going in the first 12 then I'd be somewhat ok with taking Allen. After these 11 I've really got no idea who I'd want. Maybe Brander, maybe Allen.

Rayner
Dow
LDU
Cerra
Brayshaw
Stephenson
Clark
Bonar
Coffield
Higgins

Yeah but that's 9 on 1. You need to pick 8 more on the 'A' team so it's equitable.

What's everyone's predictions for the 1 gimp move we're bound to make with one of our picks on draft day?

Personally i think it's that we will reach stupidly and take Ryan with 37.

The 2km Time Trial
What should you run

5:30 - 6:00 min = Super Elite Athlete (Issac Smith/Mark Blicavs/Ed Curnow)

6:01 - 6:15 min = Elite AFL Player (Billy Hartung/Sam Gibson/Bradley Hill/Johnny Rayner/Patrick Ambrose/Tom Scully)

6:16 - 6:30 min = Slightly Better than average AFL Standard (Jamie Macmillan/Dan Hannebury/Ben McEvoy/Liam Shiels)

6:31 - 6:45 min = Average to Slow Standard (45% of AFL players are in this bracket)

6:46 - 7:10 min = Had a big festive season or is a Key Position player

8:13 min = Worst Performance Ever (Murray Newman 2012)

I can definitely see Constable sliding now. Slow with no aerobic capacity.

Unless he had a bad day. Might have been a sweltering 20 deg or something.

The guys that just did the time trial are doing it now because they were injured during the combine. If they've had lengthy injury layoffs it's not hugely surprising they'd underperform in an endurance test.

Yeah more than likely. Also do they normally do this? I always thought if they missed the combine through injury it was just that.

Looks this is all good but to bring it into perspective so we can really understand what time does Masten run?:D

In that scenario, I would go Constable. A couple of fallbacks would be L Fogarty and O’Brien to take at 13. Yes we are reaching a little but not greatly.

We go another mid at 21(one of the other 2 likely to be still there if not Bailey), Kelly at 26,Moore or Spargo at 32 then Claravino or Taylor or ColemsnJones or Miller at 37
