Gee your second post is a pretty decent vent?

What other account do you post under BTW. A Freo one maybe?

Watch as we accomplish **** all in the next decade. This team is going NOWHERE. I am just stating the obvious, if you're too blind to see it well then I guess ignorance is bliss, aye.

This team is so ******* inept. From the CEO to the bitchy social media campaigner. Flying high on nepotism and friendships. Team will go ******* nowhere for a long time whilst it's all one conservative boys club. Watch as Ah Chee and our draftees do **** all of note for their careers at WC. The recruitment staff are pure shit. The development coaches are pure shit. Bunch of ******* useless unqualified shit campaigners running the club, what do you expect besides mediocrity? Pussies. Conservative pussies who are unable to make any 'hard' calls. Jobs for the boys, paychecks. That's all they seem to care about. This Nisbett campaigner is cancer, quicker he ****s off the better.

Hill is gone so irrelevant. I would rather none of them.

Do you understand basic list management?

If we get rid of all of them we need to either bring in a DFA or use our six round draft pick which would be pick 90 ish.

We delist Hill > use pick 69. Not unhappy with this.

Delist Wellingham > get a DFA or use pick 85ish. Pick 85?

Delist Lamb > again need a DFA or use pick 90ish. Really?

The other option is don't have 40 players on our main list which is a tad silly considering we are in a mini rebuild and have a heap of cap space.

Normally I would somewhat agree but I wouldn't get so heat up over it. It's not good for health!

I have a good feeling about this off season, the trade period was anything but conservative.

We have to delist one of them anyway so wont need to use 69 in that scenario. Lamb will most likely be re-signed for another year which leaves Wellingham. I think his time is up but if we have to I'd sign him for another year than bring in Palmer.

Anyone's tip on who the big sliders will be in the draft?

Bonar due to his knee.

Top 5 talent to slip into the late 1st early 2nd round somewhere.

Stingrays talent manager Mark Wheeler said Bonar loomed as a very early pick before the first surgery, which didn't work as well as hoped.

"The feedback then was that it wasn't necessarily a second ACL, it was just that the first operation didn't take properly. Technically he's had two, but the first one the graft didn't take and just let go," Wheeler said.

"We took a bit longer than it could and he was ready to play about a month before we unleashed him, but we were really keen to build him up. He trains the house down, and he does stuff that he shouldn't be able to do at 190cm. He's AFL ready already."

Bonar presents as a difficult player for clubs to rank given his injury history, but he has appeared to retain his athleticism despite the knee issues.

"If it was all fair and equal and this boy never had the injuries he's had, then I think his name would be touted as a potential No.1 draft pick," Wheeler said.

Will he last to the rookie draft?

If Freos first pick is 42 why would they swoop then?

An ex top 10 pick and no interstate club will take that risk.

Its actually a shame we gave up pick 50.

I can see Freo getting Ryan with 42 and then Garlett at 62.

Would it be worth grabbing him with our pick 37?
We can get a but mesmerized by the possibilities that come with untried draftees, but there might be more value in bringing in a very talented Garlett at that pick. There's calls to grab a Kelly or Ryan with one of our second rounders, no reason why Garlett shouldn't be considered.

I thought that if the club is offering the player a contract then they won’t be a delisted free agent?

So if Miles has a deal in front of him how can he be one?

Good point in this instance maybe Richmond will offer the one year deal once Miles decides if he wants out or not thereby Miles making a decision as are WCE Lions and GC about contracts for him in the next week .

It's actually 2010 - and you wonder why your midfield stinks.

You want top quality, you need to be at the point end.
Not sure why you're measuring success by the amount of top 10 picks a club has? Speaking as a supporter of a club with nothing in its cabinet it's hard for you to make judgements on success.

If anything, the lack of top 10 picks proves how "successful", in terms of ladder position anyway, we've been in comparison to a club like freo who have a top 10 pick every season.

Correct me if im wrong but I don't think any of Sydneys midfield were top 10. Half their team are rookies. More to do with development than draft position necessarily.

The Tigers would have to decide to let him go if they genuinely wanted to keep him. So they can be nice and let him go as a DFA, or say not to that option, and he chooses between the drafts and re-signing.

You can refuse to sign and request to be delisted.

If the player doesn't want to be there there isn't a great deal they can do about it.

Iirc Tom Ledger did the same a couple of years ago, I think with the intention that he would be signed by another club. Didn't eventuate, but that is the risk you run.

Guess who has been dumped by Todd Nisbett! Oh dear. Think you might need Rawlings to help you on list management.

:p:p Gave me a laugh. Anymore where that came from ? :p:p

TBH he has gone a bit far and seems genuinely upset in the post. I will however agree with him that nisbett is cancer and needs to gtfo of the club. We were lucky that as an average team with average coaching we had the best midfield assembled in the afl era carry us to a 1 point win in a grand final at the weakest point of the competition in the last 15 years.

Lets have a look at that side. We got cousins as a father/son, we lucked into judd at pick 3 and we hid daniel kerr. If it wasn't for this success the Nisbett era would be seen as a complete total and utter shitfight. He should have fallen on his sword at the end of 2007.

The other poster is right about too many jobs for the boys with the club and board being too comfortable in their situation and nisbett having too much control over the entire football department. While we aren't the worst run footballing department and have maintained financial success i wonder just how secure we would have been financially if it wasn't through having such a great stadium deal and being the original afl from WA.

The club treats its members how the afl treats the general public. Like frothing idiots who will eat up the bullshit they serve up. The club was once at the very forefront of the league in regards to engagement, innovation and success. The truth is now while we are very financially secure the only part of our club that is top tier is our community and indigenous engagement programs through regional WA. We've gone from intense, hard at it, blue collar sandgropers sticking it up the vics to white collar pussies looking after the boys with a bunch of old fogies with the footballing nous and knowledge of down syndrome orangutans knitting in the crowd whilst yelling kick it.

While it seems we have turned the corner in some areas we are a long, long way off being the team all other clubs scrambled to emulate in the early 90's. If it wasn't for the personal leadership of woosha and the charisma of cousins we'd be as or more irrelevant than fremantle since 95. A ****ing scary thought.
