I love it, it's like Gold 104.3, but with much less ads and talk and I'd say harder rock (originally they were officially just 60's to 80's classic rock, but now they're starting to squeeze in harder early 90's stuff as well, like occasional Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Metallica and so-on).

I'm hearing lots of stuff that I already know and love, but also plenty of songs I'd never heard before from the 60's to 80's that I'm now really into.
Believe it or not K-Rock FM from Geelong is like a cross between MMM and GOLD.
Pretty on my side of the Westgate.

Yeah I think it would be closer to overs than unders myself.

He's good, but you're still largely paying for what you hope he might become, even though he's been in the system for 4 years now.

He's probably a safer bet than most you'd draft with a pick like 10 or so though and he's ready-to-go and possibly to really blossom, so I'd be fine with us giving up that pick for him, especially if we happened to get someone like Kelly as well.

Straight swap for whatever we get from trading Hickey imo.

I think we are getting bored of this thread no real credible news to post every ones closed shop until Oct time to give this thread a miss I think.
No credible news? Really???

You just need to know where to look.

You've got to look for the hidden codes from posters like joffa

"K-Rock FM is like a cross between MMM and GOLD".

What he means is that K (Kelly) -Rock FM is like a cross between MMM (Mayne) and GOLD (Goldstein).

Joff is obviously an ITK and if he and the Saints believe the above to be true then obviously the club is right into him.

Personally I thought he may be the speedy mid we've been searching for. But if the Saints think he's more of a big goofy ruckman with a demolition derby head then who am I to argue?

I'm not sure that would get it done but it would of course depend on where the pick is.

What I'm wondering though is who would be desperate to trade for either Tom or Billy?

I've seen Richmond put forward, but Nankervis is going great-guns there, so they no longer have a need.

WB probably the only other club that comes to mind without thinking much about it, but they did just spend a top 20 pick on English and have Roughead, Campbell and Boyd in the meantime, so I'm far from confident that they'd throw a pick around 20 our way for someone like Hickey- who they'd be hoping to only need for a year or two until English is more ready.

I reckon if we were bringing in two of the calibre of Kelly and Jones for instance it would push Dunstan even further back in the pecking order and he'd possibly ask for a trade, but I also doubt we'd get as much for him as some here have suggested.

Hickey to freo

What about gws? Mummy is what, 31 now? His body couldn't be holding up for much longer with the amount of physicality he brings to the game.

I know they've got Lobb but he seems to be doing too well as a forward to throw into the ruck permenantly and I'm not sure who else they've got to go in there... might have forgotten someone...

Just a thought anyway

Pretty sure Sandi wants to go on tho and Tom might not want to go across the country.

I reckon there's also a very distinct possibility that Goldstein might be on the market to a club that is really keen to add someone for the ruck role at their club.
How old is he? I would've guessed Sandi has 1 more year in him

Current Saints trade value -

Hickey late 1st round
Armitage late 1st early 2nd
Dunstan early 2nd round
Minchington early 2nd round
Savage 2nd round
Lonie 2nd-3rd round
Wright 4th round
Pierce nil
Holmes nil

Not a lot to work with as far as trades are concerned. Some might be surprised to see Armitage listed but we need to replace him if we are to improve.

Think a few of them might be wishful thinking, no way Armo gets a first or early second with his injury history/prior form

Massivily overrating

Savage and Lonie are close to being delisted, not worth second rounders

Come on lets get a little realistic. Armo is now a second or third rounder. Hickey may get a late first but I'm thinking 20-25 especially if he doesn't play again this season. Dunstan late second at best if not even worse. Minchington is nil as is Savage, Lonie and Wright.

Current Saints trade value -

Hickey late 1st round - early/mid 2nd
Armitage late 1st early 2nd - 3rd
Dunstan early 2nd round - mid/late 2nd

Savage 2nd round - 3rd
Lonie 2nd-3rd round - 3rd
Wright 4th round - 3rd (underrated imo)

Classic Rock Radio, 1377 on the AM band (which used to be 3MP), or on digital radio/online. Been going about 6 or 8 months now I'd say.

Just wall to wall rock awesomeness from the 60's to the early 90's, with very few ads or news type breaks and generally no-one DJ-ing.

So in other words, someone has stolen my iPod.
