Yeah, me too. Have always felt it was a major concern that he'd eventually want to go home, as most people here have. Wouldn't mind some confirmation that the joint is in Melbourne...
But Blake has said publicly that he loves it in Melbourne and can't see himself going back to live in WA?

Could just be a holiday house in Perth, nothing to see here.

Can someone please give me the names of the GWS Academy players for 2017 and there rankings as of End of August.
Charlie Spargo was originally ranked 29 for them, but he is no longer on their List, because Albury not classified in their region anymore.
Cheers

Everyone wants to be an "itk".

100%. I remember not long ago, I maybe didn't take much notice for a week or so, then when I tuned back in a certain poster had gone from being super normal to suddenly having a direct line. Strange.

No fcks given though I dig it all keeps it triggered ;)

Western Sydney’s Nick Shipley, Canberra’s Jack Powell and Wagga Wagga’s Brendan Myers will head to Melbourne for the combine thatwill assess each players’ strength and skills through a number of tests including standing vertical jump, agility tests and running tasks.

The trio have all played in the GIANTS’ NEAFL side this year and also represented the Allies at the 2017 NAB Under 18 Championships last month.

I wouldn't worry too much about Acres buying a house in WA.

He's from there and would imagine he would want to settle back there eventually. If he's smart he'll be investing his money whilst he's earning good coin.

Also, with the money he is on he wouldn't need to buy a renovation project in WA if he planned on moving back. Which makes it sound more like an investment.

If he does want to leave, well he's contracted so we'd get good value for him.

A fully developed, in his prime Acres will be a better player than Gaff IMO.

Tend to agree.

Gaff has never won a hard ball in his career, surely we wouldnt want to lose Acres for him. We need outside run but not at the expense of our future developers, would prefer to go to the draft.

Just want to say something a bit left field. I just watched highlights of Nat Fyfe and was thinking could Membrey be our Fyfe? He's 6 foot 2, built like a brick, an unbelievable contested mark and deceptively quick. Is it easier said than done and it's just a stupid idea by me or am I on to something?

If he built his endurance I don't see why not. Would be a beast but is currently too valuable where he is.
