Yeah I posted that we should take Smith “early” a few pages back too. Most draft watchers have him pegged outside the top 20 and I can’t understand why. Maybe we’re missing something?

Suits us best imo stocker is a better left and right foot kick but too much like prestia we need a bigger faster inside mid and ely is it

I'm a bit lost with our list restructure this season. We've obviously got a sight cap issues.

Seeing Lloyd, Conca, Miles, C.Ellis depart has left a hole in our 2nd tier midfield depth. I can only guess we're looking to reload with MIDs in this draft as it bats fairly deep. Even so we've not progress our draft hand much given the departures.

Coupled with the loss of Hampson, Griffiths & Chol we've also lost depth with to timber. Soldo is along way from being an AFL ruck, and I've heard were targeting a mature ruck (Tom Campbell? Or some mature ager from SA).

So we've got Naish, Markov & Menadue floating outside our best 22 as depth? Geez I hope our first few draftees are ready to play. A couple of injuries away from being tested.

Might only be a cap issue for season 2019. We might have some retirements and the usual delistings which will create the cap space to get another trade in

Yep and I like what he is doing. It's what they should have done from the start, build a list using kids and a few old heads as guides. If they can stay patient they should come out fine. It's going to be painful along the way, but he has a chance to stamp himself on the club, the key will be whether the flog Cochrane panics

I see Jonathan Marsh is nominating for the draft. He left collingwood 2 years ago and took time off. He’s exactly what we should look at for our defensive half. Quick solid tall with good rebounding kick. Collingwood have good rebound from defence and it’s something we need to look at too

I don't subscribe to having to pick a big bodied mid with our first pick. Best available all day every day. If chayce jones is still there we have to take him in my opinion. He's been playing against men for years. Ready to go and no real weakness.
