Funny how quick we will forget about Neale if this is true

Ideal would have us landing hogan and somehow keeping that top 10 pick

Would be good, maybe give it up for Hogan and a second round , there is still going to be some gems.
Would love to have kept Neale but as with any X's if the want to go they want to go and there is no point begging

For me, a decent trade period would be;

In:
Hogan (if fit)
Pick 5/6 (Rozee or another mid)
Carter (rookie)
Medhat (rookie)
2 round pick (Neale trade)
Conca (FA)

Out:
Neale
2nd round pick (Neale trade)

Keen to see what else falls from the Apple tree but I’d be happy with this. I’d imagine any other decent In’s will be from future picks, as we don’t have much currency with current players!

I am perfectly ok having our first pick in the superdraft be pick 77 if it means we keep neale and get hogan

Hell I'm ok losing neale to get hogan. Just send connor blakely to the middle. Hogan will have us pushing for finals again

This one certainly has wheels based on the wording. Has gone past speculative, to more of a this is fact tone.

Whether the trade actually happens or not is now the issue whereas in the past he wasn't actually open to being traded.

Neale leaving also frees up some cash.

I'm going to get excited over this one.

Never believed it before BUT this is happening people!
I remember Tim Gossage saying about a big fish :)

Much like us dreaming that we will get a first rounder this year and next for Neale?

Nup, 1st this year and a second rounder, this years or next. Agreed, no chance on getting 2 x 1sts

That’ll be on traded I expect if this hogan talk is true

Here's my 2 year list management strategy

2018:
1. Neale and 2019s 2nd for lions pick 4(5) and 2019 1st
2. 5(6) and 2019s 3rd for Kelly and 11
3. 4(5) gets Rankine/Smith Rozee
4. 11 gets Ian Hill
5. Take NGA kids

2019.
1. Lions 2019 first and Fremantle's 2020 3rd for Hogan
2. Coniglio and or Swallow as FA
3. Our first for the best forward mid available
4. NGA

2020 list
FB: Duman, Pearce, Ryan
HB: Wilson, Hamling, Logue
C: Langdon, Coniglio, B Hill
HF: Walters, Hogan, Bennell
FF: I Hill, Cox, Rankine
R: Darcy, Fyfe, Brayshaw, Cerra
IC: Blakely, S Hill, Kelly, 2019 1st

So if all is to unfold....where on earth are we getting all our picks to achieve the supposed trades if they eventuate.....and still draft a WA fella who is very similar to Hodge and Phil Kelly(Josh's dad), and say Hill, Medhat, Carter etc. Lobb, Hogan, and if we lose Neill even there what will we be giving up and have left for the draft?

Yeah we are giving up 2 first rounders if we get Hogan. Either ours this year and next, or potentially the Brisbane pick instead if we trade Neale.
picks 5 and 6 is too much for Hogan.

Maybe we trade we split pick 6 for 2 first round picks or 1st round and a player.

Neale for pick 5(6) and pick 22(25) for Kelly and pick 11.

Pick 6 and 11 for Hogan.

Net
Gain Hogan and Kelly
Lose Neale and pick 6

Too late, you’ve already been sucked in:D

I posted the Lobb info back in June/July. What have you done lately other than clutter threads with your pseudo-intellectual musings?

Your posts contain an astronomical amount of offended, but your salty tears are delicious and free.
I believe one of your posts after the Lobb news came out was "I had no idea, i made it up and spoke it into existence."
You also then changed your pic to Jesus...

Unfortunately I'm all in on Hogan now and I know I'm going to regret it and I'm getting way too far ahead of myself, but do we
a) Look to trade Tabs if we get Hogan and Lobb (who I'm actually more keen on if we get Hogan) and if so;
b) What's his value, a second rounder seems reasonable or am I over-valuing him

The undertakers are already moving in:rolleyes:

I was quite okay with waiting til next year for Hoges but, if this is happening, I can only see it going ahead if Neale is leaving. Pick 6 and next years first for Hoges. Pick 22 for Lobb. Which leaves us pick 5 for Rankin/ Rozee/ Smith.
