Either way makes me shudder the thought of Darling, Kennedy, and Lobb all down there at once

On [device_name] using BigFooty.com mobile app
It is scary at Yellow maggot land if Lobb arrived but with some work Tabberner, Hogan (fit), Cox ,Apeness being fed by Cerra, Langdon, Brayshaw, Fyfe, Rozee could be scary too
We have enough tall's with the talent just need to get a good pre season and som good Coaching into them
Hogan if his foot OK is an exciting prospect

It makes sense for us to acquire a key forward when his club wants to shunt him out due to what will be a chronic foot injury that will mean we never see him play for the four years of his huge contract.

Jon Ralph / HUN going with the Hogan stuff now.

"The Herald Sun understands even if he stays next season he will not sign a contract extension over the summer past his current deal which expires at the end of 2019.

In conversations with his management over the last week he has finally declared he is open to a trade if Melbourne is also on board.

Fremantle is also aggressively pursuing GWS ruckman Rory Lobb, who has met both the Dockers and West Coast in recent days as he consider his options.

It was reported on Tuesday Fremantle would offer Hogan a multimillion-dollar deal for Hogan, which it has done in recent seasons to attempt to lure him home.

But Hogan’s openness to a trade in discussions with his manager — and Melbourne’s acceptance that it might trade him — are game-changers.

Hogan is yet to formally request a trade but with his management meeting with the Demons as early as Wednesday everything points to a likely trade."

This one certainly has wheels based on the wording. Has gone past speculative, to more of a this is fact tone.

Whether the trade actually happens or not is now the issue whereas in the past he wasn't actually open to being traded.

Neale leaving also frees up some cash.

I'm going to get excited over this one.

Never believed it before BUT this is happening people!

You really think so? I'm not convinced. It's the same old talk repackaged from an angle that isn't exactly as convincing as the ones from the past. Sure he'd be a decent get but I'm not as excited for him compared to 16'. I'd rather see him stay at Melbourne. When I think of this new Melbourne Era he's the player figure I attach to it.

Don't worry guys we're not getting Hogan this year. We are just doing the same as last off season, reminding him that he's very much wanted at Freo.

When Melbourne reject the trade or ask for too much we'll say see you next year. Let him rehab his foot, have a down year and trade for him at his lowest value out of contract. First and future second will get it done in 2019s trade period.

I refuse to believe any Hogan rumours until he's kicking the ball to Fyfe on a training day, even then I'm skeptical!

I’d rather Fyfe kicking the ball to him tbh...

My foot might be cooked, can we sign a long term deal somewhere before it's beyond doubt?

Not worth the risk this season, Melbourne can't match the money from Freo at the end of next year anyway.

As long as we don’t completely over pay I’m down.

May as well get him now if we can & not let anyone else have a sniff at him next year.
