He has re-injured his foot though, as he was almost ready to play in the last game of the season, here we are 6 weeks later. If it is Navicular then he may have pushed himself a little hard in the off season. To still be on crutches.
Curious. Why was a Navicular bone injury introduced to the discussion. Having gone back through last seasons injury/recovery reports, there is no mention of a Navicular injury. Head of the clubs medical simply refers to Berry having a bone bruise (which is a misnomer, as a bone bruise refers to a fracture that occurs inside part of the bone), but does not mention which bone.

It started being discussed after a picture was posted in the thread below:

From post # 1195 I think page 48.
All just speculation.

Cool. So no inside information.

Yup, remember that discussion. So hasn't been mentioned before that. Hopefully it's nothing serious. We can't afford to lose any of our kids to long term injuries.
Just a bit unfortunate that something is still going on. Especially to see him on crutches in the club pictures, but nothing said officially.

Guys can we stop playing backseat doctors please, we don't know what's going on. Let's wait for the club to tell us.

And let's not be too hasty chastising Berry for something he may have or have not done, which may or may not have contributed to his foot. All reports are how he is amazingly mature and responsible for a first year player, with leadership credentials. Why do we think he would suddenly do something out of character.

Maybe he did it while practicing machete juggling and dropped one on his foot.

It's awful that he is allowed to do machete juggling, and I can't believe the club lets him!

Pfft what an amateur. Everyone knows that you only juggle flaming machetes

Obviously did it chasing the fine young women of Brisbane over the off-season.

Another disadvantage of not playing in Victoria as we all know the women do the chasing there.

Will it take a broken neck for the AFL to recognise the absolute disadvantages our youngsters face in the plight for love in the Northern States?

So you’re saying we need our women fatter and slower ....

Wasn't it you speculating?
