I know they're only highlights, but there was some really impressive ball movement in the vid. Looked like pressure was high too.

Have the intra-clubs always been two pretty even teams? I feel like in the past we might have played a probables versus possibles type thing where one team dominates. Either way, it certainly looks like the list runs a lot deeper now and is about as healthy as it has been in recent memory. Looking forward to the season!

Probable vs possible was a leppa favorite from memory.

Gee he is ******* huge. Look at those legs....
Haven't seen someone so enthused about the leg development of players since the days of Robert Walls drooling at the sight of Mal Michael's thighs.

;)

Seriously though legs are so damn hard to build...He is going to be almost impossible to push out from a contest with that low centre of gravity. Just looks so powerful specially through the core. Can't wait to see him in 3 or 4 years time. Easily one of the biggest draftees I have ever seen.

Enter Jack Payne ;)

I think taking rockliff out and putting anyone in there will help that alot

I think TBD was first to mention it a while back, but removing Rocky (despite his contested numbers) may be the key in removing the "good on paper" tag as having both he and Beams who struggle to two way run was exposing us quite a bit. Replacing one with someone like Cameron in the rotations should really change things up for the better.

Can’t see Cameron spending too much time in the guts based on the intra, Matho looking the most likely

The only thing that worried me about the highlights video was Beams running off Matho at a stoppage and kicking and a goal.

Glad Matho has worked on his fitness but hopefully his accountability will improve as well.

Ah cool. Will be interesting to see how we run combos + rotations this year. Jlt series will give us some great insight.

Speaking of accountability - I can't wait to see how Berry develops as an inside mid - the guy runs so hard both ways. One of my fav memories of 2017 was his chase down dive agaist an Essendon player which resulted in him winning the free and stopping the Bombers from scoring (the ball event went through for a goal so legitimate game winning effort). If he can apply that effort alongside winning clearances we will have quite the weapon.
