Thomson said he liked to see blood on the wicket. Lillee said when you bowl a bouncer, you're trying to hit the batsman. It's just a case of whether you're prepared to admit it.
Each to their own I suppose. But i feel like the landscape has changed since the death of Phil Hughes

Systematic cheating vs short bowling and not saying sorry about it.

Oh it’s adorable how sensitive and clueless you are. Keep living in a fantasy land.
No proof of systematic cheating. It's sportsmen being top competitive and doing something immoral in the context of the game.

Short bowling is fine. To laugh a minute after a bloke has been hit in the same spot as his and a number of the opposition's mate was hit and died from a few years prior is a ****ing disgraceful act.

Stop defending the muppet. Smith was down and out for long enough that the other poms checked.
Your man pi**ed off and had a giggle. End of story.

My man? Defending him? I’m as Aussie as they come mate and love this team as much as the Hawks.

People don’t even read before they post hysterically.

A lot of missed points. Time to move on.

Amazing how much pace he generates given he jogs in.

Jogs in, puts no power through the crease, barely follows through, bowls 150.

Mark Wood almost throwing himself down the pitch and injuring himself every second game just to nudge 150 must cry into his beer every time he sees it.

Not a single Pom came over to see if Smith was alright. No one gave a toss
From cricinfo: "Archer to Smith, no run, oh dear! He's been clattered here by the short ball. He's down. This is nasty. Took him on the unprotected part of the neck. The medics are out there straightaway, from both sides, and the England players have immediately gone to Smith. "

I think that’s a little unfair. They ran over to him as soon as it happened. The English medical team even ran out onto the ground.

I think we should give Archer the benefit of the doubt that it was just nervous laughter after the incident.

Settle down people, Archer is still a kid on debut, it wasn't a great look I admit but he probably didn't know what to do....

It’s basic human decency. He’s a grown man who should have had the decency to check on the person hit in the head. His teammates did.

The bowling was fine. It’s what he did after that will get up anyone’s goat. It was s**thouse. Imagine if it was Cummins laughing. We’d miss 2 overs of cricket because of the broadcaster showing it over and over again

Bowling was awesome. He act like a normal Hunan being when the bloke he hit looks half dead and there is no issue at all.

Don't think you can read too much into Jofra and Jos sharing a joke. Joffey must have thought Smith was OK.

I find it unbelievable that bowlers still laugh after hitting a batsman in the head, after what happened to phil hughes. Keep in mind smith was still lying on the ground too.

Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story... it’s much better for all the tin foil hatters in here.
