Don't want to see Rohan in. He might just be the worst finals performer of the modern era and hasn't done anything since the first 3rd of the year. The Richmond defenders will toy with him and he will be a liability. His defensive pressure is pointless too if he's going to allow his direct opponent to dominate.

Need same mentality going into this game as WC, that we are underdogs, written off and have no chance and need to prove everyone wrong.

Bring in Rohan for Hawkins. Nothing else, unless Duncan is fit.

Play with a small, less predictable forward line where we lower the eyes and actually play more "richmond-like' with small players hunting the footy, being unpredictable.

Pressure needs to be put on richmond, we need to lift our pressure intensity to the highest it has ever been to out-richmond them.

I have confidence against the Tigers we all know how they will play and we will need to stop Dusty if he gets to Fwd50 but our backs will take care Lynch and riewoldt, they love to run forward of the ball so we need to hurt them on the rebound, if we can go into last Q only 10 points down then we have a massive chance and while I don't mind the team some of tiger supporters are tossers, so cats by 4 goals.

I wouldnt put it past MC and Scott to put Clark in for his pace...

First things first.
The tigers play like us. But they use less disposals to score in a passage. That must be stopped.
Secondly, we have to protect the role of sav rat.

Play someone like buzza, make him stay deep, and hit the ball hard.
No medium tall is going to relieve sav rat.

Rohan is a total enigma, but I think for him his job is easy this week. Fly and bring the ball down. Simplify his role, not about goals just ferocious attack. Miers, Lukey and Ablett will have to kick the goals.

I’d be mentioning in media this week we hope Esava can fly for his marks and not blocked. After Mason Cox last year, they are going to be alive to the threat of him running and jumping at marks.

If Tom misses we can't re-arrange the whole team to cover - just make the minimal change and don't interfere with a side that's just played and prevailed in a terrific contest.
I think Blitz will be needed down back as Kolo and Henry are too small and Taylor too slow for Lynch.
I'd only play Rohan if he's 100% but I favour a second tall if Tom isn't there. Do we play Fort and camp him within 20M of goal or do we play Sav there as I believe he will be a serious aerial threat to Grimes or Astbury. Hard one - hopefully we argue Tom was careless and he gets fined

If he is fit and can get back to his early season form then certainly. But there’s lots of ifs with Rohan. That type of player.

Buzza hasn't played this year. You simply can't bring someone like him into the team in a Prelim and expect anything other than a massive liability. Why do people think this is an option? These are footy players. It's not like swapping tyres on a racecar. Buzza in would be a disaster. If the MC learned anything from dumping Stanley in the first final, they wont make a mistake like this.

Rohan probably most likely for Hawk. I remember the enormity and noise of the crowd in 2017 v rich. Very hostile. We need to be in around the mark early. We can go with them and defend them. I think it falls to the forwards and mids to pressure and hem them in which will give us the chance to set up behind the ball and hopefully control. The chaos/surge is is hard to stop but we have shown just last night we are capable of applying pressure. Think we were last team to beat them this year. They are clearly better and different so huge challenge but we are a big chance

That’s right. Unpredictability will give us an edge. I prefer Hawkins out to be honest. Coaches should be salivating and relish this opportunity to set up a whiz bang forward set up. Go small & fast! Menongola around half forward. Cmon surprise the bastards!
