There's high end talent there, but Rowell and Anderson are better than anyone from last year.We don't have access to the high end talent this year that's the point

Do we dare dream.Guy in the blumour thread saying campo will be at Carlton next year. Fingers crossed he’s right.
David Wildy on AA said the same thing a few days agoGuy in the blumour thread saying campo will be at Carlton next year. Fingers crossed he’s right.
I'd prefer a pick inside the 10 and 14.
Lot of blokes want to play under Ratten it seems.
More 7 than 9.So 9 and 16 for 10 and 14? Why bother.
Again, neither did the Dogs a few years back. Worked for them. And we don’t even have a coach.
Absolute shambles.
That works, but Sydney could do that themselves.Pick 4 for Pick 12, 18 and 2020
1st
On trade 12 & 18 to Sydney for Pick 5 (gives them multiple picks to throw at Essendon for Daniher).
I’d be okay with that play. I don’t know anything about the specifics of the depth of the draft but I find it hard to get my head around trading 9 & 19 only to split it for 12, 18 and a likely pick in the teens next year.
Can we 1st round pick swap with them again next year?Guy in the blumour thread saying campo will be at Carlton next year. Fingers crossed he’s right.
No it wouldn’t, we pick after Port who would pick up Stephens. The only thing that makes me think it's a good idea (2 things actually) is it will probably get us Stephens and Gould as it's right in their zone. Plus it adds a first rounder next year to add to 2 last year and 2 this.
I'd be deferring this one to Hamish.
I'm not so sure they'd hit Stephens actually, especially if they land Fantasia. No it wouldn’t, we pick after Port who would pick up Stephens.
We are worse off than we would have been had we not done the Carlton swap if we end up giving a second back.
Besides unless we rank every player the same from 3-20, which we wouldn’t, we are giving up first crack at our first choice
That works, but Sydney could do that themselves.
Ones a forward, the other a mid. Fantasia won’t have any bearing.I'm not so sure they'd hit Stephens actually, especially if they land Fantasia.
I'm keen on next year's first rounder, or maybe a Hately as part of the deal.
We do have to remember this is Mark Stevens, he's unlikely to be right.Ones a forward, the other a mid. Fantasia won’t have any bearing.
Next years first will be anywhere from 14-20, if we give back 23 this year then that’s pretty neutral. Of course Hately is a different story but he’s not being discussed as an option.
We still mightDon't mind it, especially if it gets us Luko next year, but would prefer to get first rounders with Keath and Greenwood trades bundled with our seconds

More like 12 18 and Hateley for 4 only. Assuming Melbourne don’t bid on Green GWS get 2 top 5 picks - their pick and then Green which they will match with lower bids, from doing this trade - elite talent. They do this well, continue rolling their assets into tip end picks ( think Taranto)yeah, I’d actually think this would be better as well.
Pick 14, Hately and a 3rd round pick for pick 4.
