Sure ignore the economics degreeA high school maths student could work that out.
Given Binuk is a lawyer I figure that problem is probably a bit beyond him.
******* lol
Family reasons. They are struggling with the twins and his wife wants to be close to her family for extra support. It was always their plan for after football, I guess that the twins have brought that forward. Pretty understandable I would have thoughtBut we arent the ones pushing him out
Betts wants out.
That rings alarm bells
I understand the cost benefits. I dont understand why he wants to leave ; if all things considered he isnt gaining any benefit. The move interstate would do my head in alone
Honestly if I were GWS, I'd do this.I think we’d probably need to incentivise Sydney more otherwise they’d just want to do the 12 & 18 for their pick 5 straight with gws. But obviously gws want our pick 4 because they know Hamish will bid on Greene.
SYD give pick 5
SYD get pick 12, 18, Knight
GWS give picks 12, 18, & Hately (or 2020 1st rd)
GWS get pick 4
ADL give pick 4 & Knight
ADL get picks 5 & Hately (or 2020 1st)
Everyone wins. GWS are obviously giving up a bit but they will end up with 2 top 5 quality players so they should pay up big.
This is what gives me the shits. NOBODY is saying there's nothing wrong with the club. NOBODY is saying the camp wasn't a **** up. Please find me someone who thinks everything the club does is fantastic. I reckon you'd be struggling - even with the most positive of us.Th3 apologists will spin it back away from the club being an issue. It’s never the club.
If Nicks is appointed Coach ....with his GWS influence ...can we get some GWS players ?yes please. Pick 28 do?
You can push the points over into next year so it why they'll trade their 1st next year so they can use their 2nd and 3rd next year as points collateral tooWhere are these points coming from unless they trade out a player/s for picks cos picks 40, 58, etc won't get it done? Am I missing something here?
Victorian reporter believing all players interstate will naturally come back to Victoria .....no bias hereThe vics massively benefiting from the expansion clubs again
******* lol
and deserve to come back for a fourth round pick...you don't want to keep players at your club who don't want to be thereVictorian reporter believing all players interstate will naturally come back to Victoria .....no bias here

Still surplus.Bonar goes home and Ward is 30+.
They were all there when he got drafted bar Tom Green

Lot of blokes want to play under Ratten it seems.
GWS aren't giving up Hately
But haven't they given us their next years first as well in the deal that Mark Stevens seemed to think we were angling for?You can push the points over into next year so it why they'll trade their 1st next year so they can use their 2nd and 3rd next year as points collateral too
Seriously.. how is Sam McFlog still around? Literally, the worst f*n journo in the business.
Does anyone know what happened to the Trade Shouter?
Have to admit, I did like his gunslinger approach to AFL trade week twitter. Throwing content out left and right and calling out Journo’s... Was pretty unreliable info, but at least it was entertaining in the trade week dead period (I.e. the first 8 days)
Now what are we left with, Tricky Nixon and the boring as hell whisperer?
Vomit!
What I find funny is that people were happy and I believe even you said we believe everything about the camp. This is what gives me the shits. NOBODY is saying there's nothing wrong with the club. And on most occasions have been proven correctVictorian reporter believing all players interstate will naturally come back to Victoria .....no bias here
If you just look at the raw numbers they're deceptive....Kemp has spent large portions of a lot of his games playing half forward and half back as well as midfield minutes, of course if you compare him with blokes like Rowell who play almost permanent midfield you would get that impression. That's the beauty of Kemp he's a true mid/utility that offers versatility few AFL footballers have. Surely you've noticed this year Bontompelli has spent periods of games playing forward as well as midfield this season? But does Kemp find enough of the ball ? ....if you struggle at junior level, how does that translate to AFL ?.....not a statement, but a question
