On Trade Radio, Brodie Grundy's manager has said he will be at Collingwood next year

I'm ok with this. Next year gives time to see if ROB if he's capable of more seeing he could be a very valuable ruck seeing the amount of aggression in his game.

Plus guarantees us keeping pick 3, which makes the cost a bit more comfortable.

Had an interesting pub question raised by a Swans fan the other day.

Are the Crouch Brothers better players when playing in the same side or not? And are the Crows better off having them playing in the same side?

Its an interesting question if you really think about it, I have an opinion but I'll leave it up here to see what people think.

My gut feeling is no, but could be yes within a year.

Get rid of Camporeale and get someone who can build a midfield structure in, and they should be better off together.

Brad and Matt's best season was 2017

I disagree, Matts best season was 2017, Brad's was 2019.
Maybe, but our midfield was better in 2017.

Ideally these 2 compliment each other very well. One is the in close distributor who gives it to big brother who bursts from a stoppage.

Structure is a big thing to do with it considering their playing style. That's the main point for me, both are proven Elite accumulators because they are amazing see ball get ball types.

Which ironically could be why the answer to the first question may end up being No

I think it works with a couple of those types, but you do need some outside leaning types in there too.

Sloane is too similar to the brothers IMO.

I think that was the original plan. But i'm not sure Brad has the burst anymore to play that role like we all hoped. And as such gets dragged into the contest with his brother, leaving our midfield essentially down a player when it gets on the outside!

I preferred Kane’s response tbh
This, regardless of thoughts on Kornes, Geelong is fast developing a reputation for choking up finals and being more famous for their mad Monday efforts... Dangerfield went missing when that game mattered. Admittedly it's not all him in years gone by, quite the opposite... But still.

Did anyone catch Connors talking about Ben King ??

Very very non-committal on hanging around past next year, maybe not even this year.

I have good and reliable information how the crows stuffed up his rehab.
He went to Sydney and had surgery on his groin about 14 months ago. That was the starting point. He was getting a needle every game in 2017.

aaa
Yea it's getting completely out of control. The only way to fix this issue is to reduce the amount of teams in Victoria
Don't believe the AFL will let that Happen, Currently, the son Melb Block is 8 teams the Melb Block is 10 with Geelong occasional going against what best for Melbourne.
Relocated or shut down any teams from Melb, and the Non-Melb based teams start to dominate the AFL Remember the AFL commissioners are elected by the 18 AFL clubs.
However you are right reducing the amount of teams in Melbourne will reduce the go-home factor
