Some embarrassing apricot slicers around that’s for sure
Oh mate, it's sickening. I make the mistake of reading the social media every now and then. **** me, in some peoples minds Chappy and co are the bees knees, and no correspondence will be entered in to.

Also the phrase ''so called supporters'' is a pet hate of mine. Anyone who uses that is THE problem.

Dude is very much a midfielder. My issue with Gooch is Jones is very similar in terms of strengths and both are probably competing for the same position.

Could create a potent one two punch, could see Gooch frozen out and delisted because Jones genuinely has star power.

I could see him sticking around to replace say Brad if he moves on next year. One of the current mids anyway. Can never have enough classy mids. Of course, maybe he becomes a worthy potential trade. Interesting to see where our team goes next year. Finally we have new options.:thumbsu:

Considering there are two clubs ahead of Carlton in the PSD, I'd say that's 33% or one in three chance... but you're a Carlton fan so I don't expect math comprehension to be a strong point.
It doesn't work that way mate, but you are spot on about me and maths.

I'd be thinking the other way, rookie upgrades. Get Butts/Stracthan/Murphy (I think?) on our main list and replenish in the rookie draft.
I guess it depends on where the recruiting team sees the line in this draft. Every unforced rookie upgrade is a senior draft pick we can't use, and a list spot that has to be filled in the rookie draft.

Its a shit person to trolling Greeenwood on social media like that. Nothing he tweeted was offensive and on reflection he was right, not every decision the Club made was right over the last two years.
As a Crows fan I read that and got offended and defensive, but then I realised I completely agree with him.

100% we get him for nothing, imagine the look on SOS's face then.
You don't get him for nothing if he goes PSD, he needs to nominate a huge price tag and terms to get pass GC and Melb, which would be added pressure in the next few years on your cap, you will lose players. Just how much is he worth, to you.

Gold Coast need to take a stand and the AFL need them too as well.

100% papley was signed sealed and delivered too I remember reading on your board.
I've put my knackers on the line and made a statement, you can make a different one if you like.

Bit lost aren’t you Rob, with the amount of shit you talk about crows supporters on your board I’m stunned you are here. Go back with the gronks over there
OK Drewie.

Especially when Campo in a press conference said yeah you wouldn't do that in an ideal world and next game, he starts the midfield off with that exact set up!
Yeah, we have to whack Pyke a bit for that too though. At the end of the day he's the head coach. He should have final word on the team line-ups at the start of games and after breaks. If he did, then it was his choice, and if he didn't, then he allowed his coaching team to completely contradict what it said it was trying to achieve this season.

Either way its just poor management of his team, and its perception to our fans and the wider AFL community!

Once you're at the back end of the draft, you are better off using rookie picks then senior ones. After all, they're cheaper and it's a one year contract instead of two.

I'd back Gold Coast to either recontract Martin, or pick him up in the national draft, or pick him up in the PSD, with GC having better picks in each.

Their CEO I believe said they'd do this in an interview. Even saying there was no dollar value they wouldn't be able to accommodate with shuffling

But do you really want someone who wants to leave anyway ?? Chances are he won't sign

I like Greenwood, Im not happy that he left. I hope he does well and should do well, esp if Dewy uses him as forward inside 50 and occasionally on the ball.
I might just drive down the rd and watch him play. The Q Clash becomes a lttle more interesting given the number of crows and south Aussies that are playing in both teams.

When you're in Gold Coast's position, who cares? You make a stand, force him to sign (which you have to when nominating for a draft) and try again next year.
