Do you know how many Restricted Free Agents have move clubs without Compensation?
And I Was using the previous example. Daniel Wells.
Daniel Wells - His base is less than $500,000 a season and he was 31 when he signed with Collingwood. 2nd rd pick

Stubborn AND ignorant is an ugly combination

Was impressed with Strachen last week when he rucked against Jack Hayes, Could be OK as Back up,
But Jacobs Moving, they may need Hunter again if they go with another young kid in the draft, or they have plans for Grundy as a free agent.

That's how you know you're royally ****ed as club.

Hunter... fk me.

Looked at your 2018 and your 2014 draft shortcuts and every RFA received draft picks as Compensation, so I don't know where you going with that one.

And thanks for the shortcuts to Wikipedia I looked at them and also check up on RFA and compensation
Since 2012 there have been 14 RFA who change clubs and with there original clubs receiving Compensation.
only 2 RFA change clubs without Compensation Nathan Brown in 2016 and Jackson Trengrove in 2017

You do understand Jacobs is a Restricted Free Agent. he is not a Free Agent. as the Crows traded for him he was not a delisted pickup, and he is in there top 10 or top 25% for Payments.
And that a 31-year-old Wells was pickup by Collingwood for 500k under RFA rules and North Received a level 3 = 2nd rd pick,
So please explain where am I wrong in Expecting Sam Jacobs as an RFA, If he gets the rumour 2-year deal will not gift the crows with some form of Compensation, using Wells as an example I believe a Level 4-5 = 2nd or 3rd
And please read the IF he gets the 2-year rumour deal, and understand I am using that as my starting point.

Utter incoherent gibberish as usual

The compensation formula does NOT take into account differences between restricted/unrestricted status

FFS, it’s like you’re proud of your stupidity

The AFL uses a Points system to determine the Levels of Compensation, They start at the position a player is rated and surprisingly Jacobs is still rated in the AFL at a reasonable level as a ruckman.
Then for added Pionts, they take into account the Length of Contract, Level of Payment base rate evenly spread over the term of the contract ASA not included. And Becasue he is restricted and previously top 10 there is some extra points.
Unfortunately, we miss out on any age points as he passed 30.

History points to RFA's earning compensation.
So FFS do some bloody research Wikipedia does not explain all the rules. The AGE has a few good articles about Compensation and why some get it and other miss out, suggest you look.

If he goes to GWS, they would probably do it via trade (ie 5th round pick) instead of FA so as not to affect their Coniglio compo.

Geelong did similar when we recruited JPod.
They might want to trade but we tell them it needs to be better than what we woyld get by FA, so let's say end 2nd.

So pick 49 isn't going to cut it.

So, let's talk about picks 12 or 13 and something else coming back

Cause he had one bad game after a very solid year from a personal perspective after 12 months out? Okay champ 😂😂😂😂😂
Bad time to come in on Brad as well given he's looked 3 parts cooked the last few games in a long season for a player that has missed so much football and training the last few years. Anyone that's a serious football watcher would have picked up on that.

I thought clubs couldn't organise 3rd party sponsors as part of a pay deal, isn't that one of the things we got into trouble with re: Tippet

Please tell me endorsements also get included in the cap? Wouldn't exactly be fair otherwise, not that fairness has ever been at the top of the agenda for the AFL.
