Why on earth would you swap 6.7.8 for 1,22,23??If I was the Crows, I would be looking at those Essendon picks. I would seriously consider trading Pick 1, 22 and 23 for 6,7,8. Or try something with next years first included.
That would give them picks 6,7,8 and 9.
Wonder if that is something Essendon would consider.
Well 2018 was the best year and Carlton blew that.Bad year to have pick 1
Has anyone seen much of Luke Edwards was rated highly last yr.
Crows will say the didn't want him but we all know it will be him saying no thanks.
Got to say I liked what I saw of him. A lot better player than his brother.Hes had a decent year. Seems to have slipped down the rankings a fair bit. Not sure why. He seems a pretty safe bet

I haven't kept up to date much with this years draft aside from following Jones. I like what I've seen and read of Sam Berry. He seems to be projected to go quite late, like 20-35ish? Why so late? Worth trading back in to grab him if he slides that far?
Also I was reading about mature ages worth a punt and Tyler Keitel from WA could be worth a spot as a good depth kpf
196 cm 91kg 24 years old
Kicked a few in the wafl
Any1 know much about him?
Tom Highmore 192cm 93kg key defender from South - mentioned in the same article - worth a punt?
We have enough defenders.
Jonas, Clurey, Aliir, McKenzie, DBJ, Houston, Hartlett, Burton, Jones, Lienert, Mayes, Bonner, Garner, Pasini.
Dont think he is overly quick, albeit skillful, and we are picking Taj who is much the same, so wouldn't think we would double up on that style of player.A kid I know played with Luke at henley high and a couple of years ago said he was not far behind lukosious and ranking and said he’d go top 10 in draft
He must’ve dropped off a lot or not highly rated so could be worth a punt if he doesn’t want to go f/s for crows
Sam Berry
Gippsland Power, NAB League / Maffra / Melbourne Grammar
Height: 181cm
Weight: 81kg
12/02/02
Medium forward/midfielder who is a contested ball winning beast, is strong overhead, clean at ground level and can hit the scoreboard. A resilient and competitive type who is also a strong tackler, he has a big tank recording a 21.7 Yo Yo in preseason testing. Strong performer for the Gippsland Power in 2019 in the NAB League as a bottom aged player, averaging 17.7 disposals (9.8 contested) and began 2020 full of promise gathering 20 possessions (15 contested) in one trial match before shutdown.
Consensus draft has him going between 19 & 50 with an average of 33!

Looks good although I'm a fan of Daniel Fahey-Sparks (Sturt – SANFL) who can play forward and ruck but lists his fav position at CHB.
I reckon he's 196cn as well.
I think hes got some real potential and believe he has the game to play at higher level.
Like Highmore as well but feel as a 193cm defender, he might struggle to get a gig.

DFS is a likeable kid too. I like the way he thinks through his answers.
A tall roaming forward who can pinch hit in ruck and drift back. Could be worth the investment as a rookie.
I think sparks could very well be a chance to get a rookie spot I like his versatility and size.Looks good although I'm a fan of Daniel Fahey-Sparks (Sturt – SANFL) who can play forward and ruck but lists his fav position at CHB.
