Yeah but we’ll get Reef this year so that’s two first rounders in 3 years. No doubt Sydney have killed it with their northern academy, and really shouldn’t have it anymore given they’re well and truly established enough to benefit from the FS system, but we’ve definitely benefited from the NGA system more than most clubs.

Mills has been a dud so far in my opinion, Blakey was starting to look really promising this season though
Blakey is only playing his second season. He is well ahead of the curve imo. He's the goofiest looking mofo playing the game but he's going to be a jet imo
He looked good in the midfield
Some of his kicking I've seen is just sublime. I'd kill for half our mids to have his kicking skills (Pendles aside)
I think he's going to be quite a good wingman for years to come. His physical effort at the contest is really questionable for a forward who doesn't kick goals
I'd have to have a closer look re his "physical" side. He is 9 stone wringing wet though.

Would be nice. Even though it seems they have ruled it out.. Maybe that's basically because they need a few weeks to train first? Draft is early Dec. If they get 2-3 weeks training. No reason they can't have an All stars game before the draft.
To play him forward?
After Oct 19 they should be able to have some games for Metro boys. The Country boys should be ok already
He can play both ends, hopefully as a forward for us but as a Defender he is already looking the goods, him and Moore going forward would make us the best key defensive side in the comp
