CCJ could be the one.
If we're definitely not taking Thilthorpe that would make a lot of sense....but he is contracted so we'd have to use one of our draft picks to secure him, doubt the Tigers would let him go cheaply. And I think he'd want a guarantee of game-time under the circumstances.

With potentially a forward line of Fogarty and McDonald he would be close to walking past Himmelburg.

Just take McDonald who is a better prospect.
I think Thilthorpe might not go top 5 at this rate so could position ourselves with GWS pick along with currency we get for a few other trades to move up and get all 3 (Thilthorpe, McDonald and Hollands).

that would be an absolute miracle, be v impressed if we got that lucky and then get Brunn at pick 20. How about that for a haul. Add in newchurch( not sure about Edwards borlase we may even pass on them ) and Tom powel at we pick

You can take it to the bank if Luke himself wants to be a Crow he'll be at Adelaide next year. With his size and skill set I'm sure we will see him as an AFL midfielder even if not immediately.

He might not kick a lot of goals but he'd still make a bloody big impact believe me.

Interestingly I was looking forward to seeing his nephew Jye Lockett (2021 draft) suit up for the GWV Rebels this season, shifted down to Ballarat from Queensland to further his footy last year on a sports scholarship at St. Pats. Bit of growing to do to match Tony yet but he's a forward like his Uncle....

Another player the Suns will have 1st dibs on through their Academy.
Gee..if he has a smidgeon of his uncles ability tge bleddy suns are in for another big free hit!!

At Melbourne? He's at Richmond.
I would look at offering GC third rounder.
Or whatever we get for Seedsman, Kelly etc.
Sorry, my bad ....yep, still 4th in line now

Under Contract RICH will look for a late 2nd .... #33-35

Doing a trade maybe the better path to tread

No doubt from that interview I posted, he'd be rapt at the Crows .....saying "being recruited by the Crows would be beautiful" ....leaves no doubt

Edwards is still up in the air. I'd be surprised if the club gave up a free hit on Borlase though

No, that's lids nailed down inadvertently .....kids find it hard to play the game yet at 18 YO

his talk of thilthorpe not being as good a prospect has me stumped. I saw what was i think his first league game at unley and he bagged 3 goals last year after just turning 17 against arguably the premier defenders in tge sanfl in the last 6-7 years in stephens and evans. He absolutely has the goods imo.

He is playing in a poor side this year and still does his bit. I'll be disappointed if we didnt take him and took mcdonald only because i dont think there is any real difference in talent and thilthorpe is a south aussie and a crows fan which is going to help with long term retention.

I'd really need to see him fall off a cliff or mcdonald blow the wafl away in the remaining games to be of different opinion

Yeah .. everything seems to have gone quiet on him. Sounds like he might be sliding
Yes, looking early 2nd round .....but may drift out with father/son's & Acadamy's

What level is Borlaise playing at the moment ?

Any idea if he'll actually nominate Adelaide?
I posted an interview with him early this afternoon, this thread .....listen carefully, and you'll be in no doubt he'd love to go to the Crows IF nominated by the club
