I'm still not convinced. Our backline balance is thrown out after Flossy and they're hitting up too many free players in the midfield. It's been made worse because we are swarming the ball carrier and leaving free players every where because they are good enough to keep possession and hit targets.

Lynch and Riewoldt need to lift. They should be our primary forwards as our KPFs and have done little at the moment. Also, can our midfield please just stop bombing inside 50 and look at what our options are? We don't always have to kick blindly inside 50 because clearly our small forwards are not going to convert that into a heap of goals. They have not done that very often this season and we should not rely on them to improve on that today either.

we just have to come out in the next half not worrying about what the umpire will do to us, as they'll surely put the whistle away like in every grand final... our tackling pressure has been excellent but we're just letting go of taclkles too easily and letting them get shonky handballs out that seemingly never get pinged.

Appaling standard of pro Cats umpiring and barracking on Ch7. Hocking doing EVERYTHING in his power for Dangerflop. That last goal to the Scats - Macca has clearly tackled Menegola with incorrect disposal. No - Ball up - Ablett wins the ball and Scats goal. At the other end, Rioli slips, and the umpire blows his whistel for a Scats Free before Rioli has the ball dislodged out of his arm by the fall. Blatant cheating. No wonder we are playing crap - no rewarded tackles unless COMPLETELY obvious. We are still in it if the umps start paying both ways and we start using our brains a bit better. Lynch and Jack have been poor and need to lift if we have any chance.
