I think that he needs to first come back to start pre season 10kgs lighter and busts his backside off to get to the best shape he has ever been. Whilst both his and his brothers genetics wont allow them to ever become the elite specimen like some players but Jeromy seems to be able to get himself to a higher level of fitness than mitch ever has done. Had it a bit too easy this boy mainly because of being Jeromy's brother rather than his actual consistency on the field.

Just did a guess-timation on out TPP.
I have us at 13.675 mil inclusive of Saad & Williams

The current TPP is at ~13.5 mil, without the covid discounts.
We still have to add another few players, but likely to drop a few also, so we may take a little more off my estimation.
I didn't factor in additional money to Cripps and McKay though.

The point: I don't think we could possibly have a lot of money left.

The one thing that does stand out though, is McGovern. We knew that beforehand, but it just shows up more when comparing his money to some others that may be more deserving.

Think Plow is pretty settled where he is...the one we might push up the ground, should he ever be available, is Marchbank. One of the best runners at the club, would be interesting to trial him on a wing.

Interesting exercise but without knowing how these contracts are structured it would be difficult to come up with anything meaningful. It would be quite easy to be out by +/- $2m. You only need to be out on a handful of contracts to make up $800k.

I think this would be extremely tempting for the Pies with their academy kid looking like a top 20 pick and their #16 will be could be #18/19 with the bids

16 by itself is enough. I would tell them to take it or leave it. Pick him up with the same pick in the draft.

Cap is 14.5M + 5% = 15,225,000.00 for us in 2021
