Its going to take injuries during a game to stop Richmond in 2020.

They take their game to another level when someone tries to go toe to toe with them. Not to mention they have injured players to come back in.
Geelong do too

The government of Tasmania has already said they would underwrite it and they would easily get a supporter base. The afl are just being pig headed. NT could also do the same. They could split their home games between Alice and Darwin. They would be way more marketable than dead wood vic teams.

I think you're misunderstanding exactly how small both places are, and exactly how much the AFL just cares about finances. They would have moved teams if they genuinely thought the numbers stacked up. But Hobart is about a third of the size of the Gold Coast and Darwin is about a quarter.

Anyway, I'd love to see a Hobart team, but I think the reasons it doesn't happen is more complicated that the AFL just being campaigners.

I would rather the league was cut to 12 teams with the financially dependant ones either forced out or forced to merge..

So port, stkilda, north etc forced to merge with each other or with suns, gws..

Then 24 rounds with each team playing the same opponent twice. Once at home once away.
How are you imagining the loss of TV income affects the currently healthy clubs?

I stick by my firm belief that surfer boy simply does not lift the level of his team when it matters.

Finals will be the answer this year, but from time he left to this evening the answer is:

underachieving

Some guys are great talent—he is—but for whatever reason don’t add to a squads overall level.

Crows made GF without him, never with. Hell, got there beating his team.

Geelong has not even made an appearance

Cats will be desperate for another Mid like Crouch, its going to end very soon the elite talent on their list, all on the wrong side of 30.

When the fall comes, it will be sudden and fast.

They tend to buy their way out of falls like ours unfortunately

Mine would've been under no illusions that I'd have done the same thing..... Except I wouldn't have dropped my yiros.
I’m a lucky mother. My kid doesn’t drink. Has never wanted to. Hates the smell of it. But with COVID, they haven’t been able to go out anyways. Poor bugger. He reckons he fit’s right in on a dance floor (pre COVID) because he looks like he’s drunk when he dances! 🤣

They did to the Eagles what the Blues did to us, made them pay massive overs for Kelly.

At least Kelly is an elite blue chip player.

Cats have a strong draft hand in 2020.
