One trade period. And I can’t recall the complaints this year. Mackay was extended whilst Pyke was still coach. Reid haters blame him for everything during his entire tenure, almost, if not all, while there was a senior coach in place. They’re wrong, always have been. Proof in the article, not that it should have been needed.

Here is what we know so far. Jack Steven was assaulted and is in hospital. Tex Walker was in Adelaide and has an alibi so the AFL media are still out searching for a suspect.

It wasn't self-inflicted or by someone close to Stevens.
He needs to fess up to the police and say what happened and the AFL will need to become fair dinkum about this.

All the Vic's on FC getting up in arms about the WA's premier's comments, saying it was pretty, throwing the toys out the cot, and whinging about not getting his way he should get over it..... That right there is why everything is wrong with them.
They can not see at all how all the Vic clubs playing at home and staying in their own house, can go out and socialise with friends and family while all the interstate clubs are locked in hotel rooms and can't leave except for games and training.

Actually my understanding is that they, the Vics, can’t go out and socialise for the first block of games. It is the trade off for the season starting and continuing - it was the only way the AFL was going to get the season going and get sign off from the Premiers - no going out for having coffees, meeting friends and family etc.
