Losing Stokes, will really hurt us thenThe team with the most tattoos will win the series. It's the new unwritten rule.
I've never seen Fawad Alam bat before. That's the most extreme stance ever, surely. Standing with both feet pointing toward the bowler, with all three stumps visible.
ETA. And Woakes gets him LBW almost immediately.
Up there with Chanderpaul.
He wouldn’t want to see that dismissal again. Got himself into a really awkward position for what was just a basic defensive stroke.
I never understood that
Warne greatest captain we didn't haveGood chat with Athers, Nasser and Warne atm on captaincy.
Yeah but if Warne was captain he would've made perfect field changes only to then bat Gilchrist 10 and S Waugh 11.Warne greatest captain we didn't have
So Anderson averaged 136kp/h last night. By some distance his best average over an innings (yes I know the innings isn’t over) since 2014.
so in essence he hasn’t been trying for 6 years, based on the logic of a couple of people I know
lol, you’re talking about the 4th greatest wicket taker in test history to try and defend a bowler who’d struggle to make the top 40 current bowlers in test cricket.
It’s hard to understand why you take justified criticism so personally of a player who abandoned the West Indies?
Hahahahaha hahahahaha hahahahaha ‘justified.’
I don’t care if I’m talking about the queen of England, why is one player’s effort getting judged against the speed gun and another isnt?
I’d have thought at 64 years of age or whatever he is Anderson would have learned as much as he needs to and could just run in with the shackles off and bowl his hardest. Heaven for bid a kid with 10 tests tries to figure out new methods of taking wickets beyond ‘just run in and bowl at 155kph every ball.’
jimmy must be loving the travel ban atm
Because one player is a quality bowler and the other one only has pace. It’s like comparing McGrath and Lee. Mitchell Starc bowling 130 is useless, James Anderson hooping it at 130 is dangerous.
The whole problem is archer can’t get batsman out bowling consistently, he is simply bowl short and fast. If he’s just trundling in he has nothing.
I'd like to be the 100th person to ask on here why they don't start early in England to make up time.Despite missing hours of play during this English summer due to bad light they're still not trying to make up overs in England in the morning rather than in the evening.
Cricket is so stupid sometimes.
