I don't doubt this guy's ability but before this round he had kicked one goal in six games - hardly AA contention!
Seriously!!?? Shows how much attention I'm paying. If I was asked I would have said 10 given all the talk around him.

Yes started the season in AA form but has been quiet in past weeks as syd have struggled too....
Sydney have been good the last 6 weeks. Gone 3-3 and been in every game

They haven't had injuries or experimented anywhere near as much as we have, and they have a significant buffer with their academy gifts.
Josh Kennedy also missed a large chunk of the season.Buddy, Heeney, Rampe are significant outs for them.
Agree they get an armchair ride with the academy
And they had Sam Naismith pegged as their clear no 1 ruckman.Josh Kennedy also missed a large chunk of the season.
Swans have been smashed with injuries. No denying. And they had Sam Naismith pegged as their clear no 1 ruckman.
Im sure players who might be considering a move can see through the rhetoric, I think the reality is that all things being equal (length/amount of contract- trade terms) that the player would consider the clubs prospects / facilities and list as it should be. Players Im sure can see through the short term and understand the clubs current predicament and in turn capable of making a balanced decision not influenced by the "noise".
Not saying that one season should ruin a career but...what could we get for Ben Brown?

If the word the Pies are hellbent on getting Brown is true, then we should be trying to work a trade around this.Okay, well this kid loved his time at North and stated he hoped to get drafted by North.
He has pace & skill, but needs work in other areas. We should be inquiring.

It's not close to us in comparison.
Well..............that's something else again mate.
I've heard a rumour that he has some off-field issues in the form of a big gambling debt.
Since when did that become an issue at Collingwood?
