He started the year on fire. It was discussed during the coverage that ever since the 'diving' allegations he had kicked one goal in six games (albeit missed a few).

I think it would be suicide for a club like Carlton trading two first rounders for him anyway. It might get them to 6-8 but they are not in 'top up' phase.

Agree def going better than us.... have only won 2 out of 6 that I can see though and more like 2 out of 8 so good is stretching it a little

They haven't had injuries or experimented anywhere near as much as we have, and they have a significant buffer with their academy gifts.

Im sure players who might be considering a move can see through the rhetoric, I think the reality is that all things being equal (length/amount of contract- trade terms) that the player would consider the clubs prospects / facilities and list as it should be. Players Im sure can see through the short term and understand the clubs current predicament and in turn capable of making a balanced decision not influenced by the "noise".

One thing they should know is how quickly things can turnaround for a club. Crucial component is obviously the initial chemistry with the coach.
