Yeah I know - I was comparing the arguments involved, not the players.

I have nothing against Cogs, I just personally prefer we go to the draft in general as opposed to trying to revive or restore an outside player's previous best form.

Not disagreeing, but Melbourne would've been watching the finals last year thinking they were a long way off, and would've been watching the 2019 finals thinking they were a long, long way off!

Have a look at the Dees injury list. This can be our biggest area of improvement IMO.

Actually thought them trading out Hogan was bad news. Funnily enough his heir apparent Weideman didn’t even come good. McDonald is just as good a forward then defender.

Don’t forget drafting Jackson in 2019.
Brown getting a shot is a ballsy move. Always felt that Freo should’ve tried to get someone like Peter Wright from Gold Coast but Essendon got him. Would’ve been more then handy
