According to footywire the following are OOC at end of season.

Kemp - Would offer him a 2-3 year deal.
Betts - Had my doubts, but has proved me wrong, would love to have had a kid take his place by now but it hasnt happened.. Happy for him to go around again.
Ed Curnow - Would give him 1 more year, but let him know he is likely to spend a chunk of time playing in the 2s.
Newnes - here nor there, happy to keep around if he is prepared to play for fa.
JSOS - Give him 3 years, he deserves it.
Honey - 1 year, although he may look for an opportunity elsewhere.
Fogarty - 1 year
Casboult - Unless we can attract another ruck/fwd (mabior Chol, Ratogolea) then we may be forced to keep Levi around for another year.
LOB - delisted
Parks - 1 year
Murphy - retired with fanfare
Pittonet - 2 years.
Cotterell - I have seen enough and happy for him to go, but something DT likes about him prob get a 3 year deal.
Owies - Give him 2 years
Kennedy - 2 years, performance based contract.
Gibbons - 1 year
Newman - here nor there..
OMc - see whathis body is like, happy for him to stick around for another year on minimum chips as insurance.
SPS - 2 year extension, less money than he was on, happy to accept trade offers.
Ramsay - 1 year extension.
Setterfield - Trade bait, but would be selling when price is low.. If no offers may as well keep him around a midfield depth for another year.

21 players out of contract.. Murphy retires, Betts and Levi likely to retire. LOB delisted, Setterfield and SPS traded.. That's 6 players which is a good change to our list, allows us 4 draft picks and 2 x free agents.
Honey is OOC? Ive been told it's confirmed that he will get another year.

I would have thought he'd look elsewhere considering his form and not being selected.

This is probably a good sign, means the club believe in him and also that he respects the coaches and accepts what they are saying are the deficiencies in his game that are preventing him being selected.

How could we get another Top 10 pick this year?
Would love to somehow get two of
  • Josh Ward (2 way running Mid)
  • Finn Callaghan (Winger)
  • Josh Gibcus (KPD)
  • Jye Amiss (KPF)

Perhaps SPS & our 2nd to West Coast for their first currently pick 11.. struggling to fin another way.. If we were able to do something like this I would perhaps try and be opportunistic with Collingwood.. Their first pick in this years draft will come around pick 38.. They will be desperate to trade back into the first round, if we somehow managed to get another top 12 pick, I would trade this to Collingwood for their 1st next year.. They are unlikely to be much better next year and could go backwards again, that pick could turn into a top 3 pick.

Bulldogs need points for young F/S Darcy, looks likely a definite top 3/4 pick...

They only have a 1st and 4th rounder atm, possibly looking to loose a couple end of year for greater opportunity and payday might give them some important picks draft points wise...

Richmond unfortunately has a handful of picks in the top 40 atm, including 2 x firsts and 2 x seconds which would have them in a greater bargaining position...

We might have to loose or trade out someone with a bit of value and package that up with multiple 2nd and third round picks for their first likely between 14-18 not including any FS picks...

Problem with selling off any of our 2nd and 3rd rounders this draft or future is it limits us for trading in available players we desperately need for particular positions we are really thin in or opportunity to strengthen...

Very interesting trade/draft period coming up for us this year, we need a variety of types for the now and future...

Use next year's first

This year we’ve gained confidence in six players as worthy of best 22 consideration:
Cuners
Matty Kennedy
Paddy Dow
Matty Owies
Stocker
TDK

JSOS could be added to that list (depending upon how you viewed him in 2020).

Setters has fallen out of best 22 consideration and LOB is taking longer than expected.

All up though, it’s a very good result in addition to the further development of guys like Walsh, Weiters and Harry.

Agree with that but would give LOB another year and let Levi go (keeping Oscar).

Wouldn't mind Lipinski

Wouldn't mind Lipinski
Nice young player, inside/outside midfielder/forward who’s not getting consistent game time because of the dogs huge midfield depth, #28 23yrs 190cm 50plus games 30plus goals...
Lipinski & Richards will be chased heavily I’d think, few others including Young might look for more opportunity as well...

My understanding is that the Pies don't want to move up in the draft, just looking for more points for daicos the younger.

People see things differently but I reckon we call it quits at the end of season 2022 if he doesn’t show something. Reckon he will show something though.
It's really nothing personal against LOB, it's just my drafting philosophy is that you trade out as many as you draft in. That's not to say it should happen like that every year, just that it should even out. I just don't see a spot for him in the best 22 long-term and we have other fish to fry.

KPD/2nd ruck?
Was available and overlooked in the mid season draft...
Would be interested late in the draft

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera and Lachlan Grubb, look interesting prospects as well, elite speed and ball use (exactly what we need).

Could be 3 late gems

Feel like being controversial.
Delist Parks.

I reckon that would be a mistake. He has had a taste of it & played with passion & a bit of mongrel (one of the early traits people loved about Stocker) I'll back a kid who has that level of passion to work hard enough to improve & get a spot. I would be way more concerned about others who don't seem to show any passion when they get picked.

Feel like being controversial.
Delist Parks.

It could happen, but why would you feel like saying something just to be controversial?

Something amiss somewhere?
