Anyone know where Sam Walsh's brother is at?
Went undrafted.. Weren't we looking at him as a potential ruckman in last years draft?

He is in year 12 this year, my wife teaches him and says he is a great kid, but doing his VCE doubt you would get anything out of him in 2021.
VCE can be overrated to be honest. It’s not like the old days of merit and marks got you a place in university for whatever degree so to speak.

They have all sold out and kids can just buy their way in and the government pays, get job, pay beck HECS.

too many kids stress about something that’s not relevant. How many 16-18 year olds actually know what they want to do in life, some can’t decide what clothes to wear. 😅

I'm not sure it really needs clarification.

How any rational person could conclude that the club is inept because they picked Kemp is beyond me.
Don’t be sly. You know my comment was in relation to trading our pick for said player. We were crying out for a small forward, he was right there and we essential traded it for an injured player.

Not being sly at all, this was the comment I responded to:

Goes to show the ineptitude of our football department, used our selection on an injured player.. who’s still injured.

No mention of a small forward there.

Which brings me back to my original point: how anyone can pass judgement on Kemp or call him a failure or insinuate anything close to that, just 18 months post being drafted, the majority of which time he has been recovering from injury, is beyond me.

Can you tell me the best picks in the 2021 draft, 1 to 20?

Happy that you share that information a minute before the draft

Have a scroll and you’ll see.

I’ve just gotten on this board and yes maybe I’m armchair quarterbacking but I’m happy to give you my opinion on what I reckon the club should do next..

Yet you are giving us a post dated opinion

Show me your draft rankings for 2020, show me this years

Hindsight is easy

It's fine to have wanted Pickett, but to be critical of Kemp for being injured, or the club for picking him at this stage, is simply bizarre.

The kid is 19. Give him a chance.
Of course I’ll give him a chance, he plays for Carlton! I actually don’t know why you think I’m having a go at the kid. I hope he gets healthy and forces his way for a debut. I just dislike the way the club operated during trade week and draft night when SOS was there. It looked inept and I promise I’m not speaking for myself when I say the last trade period was our least stressful and concise one we’ve had.

The fact that we used a valuable high pick on a guy who is still injured 18 months after we drafted him!
We aren't millionaires yet, we shouldn't be taking such a wild risk imo. I hope he comes good but it's not really clever or playing the percentages

You mean the guy who is out with a foot injury, not the knee injury he carried into the draft, which could literally happen to anyone?

"Wild risk". OK then.
