Yeah, we were never getting that… I thought we’d get slightly better than what we ended up with though.

I was more referring to the likes of Casboult and Lynch. But Lobb isn't far behind them. Hasn't shown much in all his years in the AFL. I reckon there could be better options in the market for us to a list spot and cap space on.

Yep, unfortunately the media drive a lot of the perception of value. Melbourne will absolutely expect that type of deal, which is why myself (and I’m sure other posters) are so against.

As I’ve said, I’ll take him for peanuts, but I just don’t think it’s realistic.
