Suns may just accept that he’s going anyway and opt to get more for him this year than next.

Having said that, I believe the Saints would be happier to get him next year and use this year to get a top draft pick. In other words encourage Ben to see out his contract. It’s what I would do, but what do I know?

Is Bing worth as much as Cameron? More? Less?

The picks exchanged between the Cats and Giants ended up being 13, 15, 20 and approx 71 (before bids moved picks) for Cameron, 30 and 32 (again, before bids).

The points difference is 3265 - 1213 = 2052. Equates to Pick 4.

I think, if Jeremy Cameron is worth Pick 4, Bing is worth a little more, but not that much more. He's got so many years ahead of him and kicked almost 50 in a rubbish side without any decent fwd support.

A first and second rounder is fair.

Its well documented why rebuilding when we did was horrible timing.

We seemed to be the only team that found it hard. Oh and Carlton of course.

English is no good. I’ll keep my Marshall thank you
It's pretty entertaining watching him get battered every week though

Melbourne’s rebuild took 12 years
Brisbane’s took 14 years

The Dogs were quickest… but got lucky with father sons.

It took us 9 to make the finals again.

That is true but we also had to bring in a lot of ready made players from other clubs to get there.

Whether we can make the next step and challenge for a flag like those sides is still up in the air.

Let's hope so.

He has a big ego and loves the attention but hasn't had the performances to back it up recently which drives the criticism his way.
Not fussed about his ego or whether he loves attention. I'm only talking about how good he is as a footballer.

Would love him at St Kilda.
