From that at least you’d say Mac at pick 2 would be a big reach. So maybe GWS would be up for the pick swap with us. 13 and 2 for 6 and 8

I think GWS going for Mac is all smoke and mirrors. Ruck clearly isn't important for them as they dragged Mummy out of the grave to play for them. Would make sense to go for Callaghan.

Andrew does look like becoming a sensational ruck, but with Darcy that isn't what we are looking for. We want a utility /pinch hitter type. I would rather use a lot less draft capital on Williams. Or, from way out of left field, on Aleer. And if not then, put Benning in the bank and have a look next year at some of the talls.

If they truly believe he’s the next Naitanui then their needs etc are irrelevant. If you think he’s Nicnat you pick him. Same goes for us re already having Darcy. Of course if all the teams think he’s that good he won’t last until pick 6, but perhaps there isn’t a consensus

I think he’s being talked about as more Luke Jackson than NN. Midfielder like skills in close.

I have a terrible feeling we will pick Sinn to add yet another dashing defender as we were linked to him a while back. Hopefully having picked up JC & having Chapman coming back we might not feel the need for yet another half back.

Only would pick him if we had a use for him outside of defence. There's a reason we delisted my fave ginger mullet 😢

It’s like when the Spurs had David Robinson and then drafted Tim Duncan.

That resulted in 5 championships.

I really like Darcy forward and Andrew from the highlights can play forward as well.

It would be a terrifying combo. I’m all for it and Rachelle if possible. But I don’t think we’d need to trade up to get both.

With JHF being a Freo supporter and a Fyfe devotee, I wonder if we’ve had Fyfey give him a call to get in his ear about how awesome WA is and how Freo are building blah blah blah. Would love for us to get that trade request in a few years’ time.

This makes more sense to me.
Build Benning up, and take the best tall we can get next year.
We still take one of them this year though

Although reading that I want him too :p

“I’ve put on about 10 kilos this year, so I’m about 80 now,” he said.

Greater Western Sydney have shown particular interest in the Dandenong product due to their need for key-position depth. The Giants currently hold pick two, but may opt to trade the selection given Andrew is likely to remain available by the mid-range of the top 10.

Andrew expects to commence his career as a forward.

“When I put on a bit more size, I could probably go into the ruck a bit more,” he explained. “But for me, probably more so as a forward-ruck, playing up forward and pinch-hitting in the ruck when they need me to.”

The smooth-moving tall prides himself on his ability to act as a fourth midfielder. Following ruck contests, he is known to crumb his own hitouts, speed away from opposition onballers and advance the ball forward with his rare big-man kicking skills.

Could be very valuable as a forward
