No it wasn't, it was #11 + #62 (which Suns didn't use) for #17 + #22 (with 22 being the first pick of the second round/second night).

My stance remains though that a mid first and a third or beyond will not get you two firsts.

Traded it up to 20 and took Philp. BRI eventually got 22 and took Devon Robertson with the first pick of Day 2.

If you could only choose players that barracked for your team in the draft we’d be premiers every year I reckon, makes a mockery of kids being lost to the club over the last 20 years….

On another note, best thing I like about this bloke is he genuinely thinks, and has confidence, he can play both forward and back.

It very much depends on the picks (and what players are available).

Out 1st & 2nd are basically the equivalent points of Sydney's 2 firsts. You don't get to move up in the 1st round without giving extras.
If we trade our 1st & 3rd for Swans' 2 x 1sts, it taxes them an early 3rd. That is very reasonable.

The options for 2 1sts are GWS and SYD. Don’t see GWS moving. SYD would need something good to fall. I could see WCE 12/20 playing, so they could potentially get Busslinger or Hewett. 10/49 for 12/20 I could see. That could get us a slider and a good player. Then 29 gets us another.
