You seem to be the type that thinks that if you say something a lot of times then people will believe you. Hollands does not have poor disposal by any means. I would rate his disposal at slightly above average ( reportedly 74%).

I get that you don't rate him which is fair enough. Making up stuff to try and convince people doesn't help your argument.
We all have an opinion we are entitled to it ..just cos you don't agree with it ..I didn't say I didn't rate him I just said I rate Allan higher ..and has an X factor about him ..would be an ideal likely type for us and I see him becoming an A grade player Voss said he wants an outside player ..much much better than Hollands on the outside if you've watched alot of matches of these kids in the junior leagues ...much more versatile too ..and has enough endurance ..doesn't need to run sub 6 min for 2 km .

There have been a plethora of these over the years.

Hilarious that Mattaes Philippou is being seen as a "Bolter" - he was always rated a top 5 prospect with clubs cooling on him in the last two months due to his interviews. Now, he's a bolter all of a sudden because presumably clubs are realising that he's just a kid and kids can lack a bit of tact?

He for me, is the best kid in the draft. Top 3 pretty close (Philippou, Ashcroft, Cadman, Wardlaw all very tight for mine)

With Philippou obviously not making it out of the top 6 now - I've turned my eyes to Ollie Hollands who is a childhood blue-bagger and looks likely to be available at our pick. Freaky running ability, with a sub 6min 2km.

Would be very happy with Hollands.

You did say that you don't rate him. Your words were "Holland's has poor disposal even worse under pressure ". That's hardly rating him as a player. It's also not true.

No worries that you want Allan. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but you don't have to denigrate another player to make your point. I would also suggest that running sub 6 minte 2kms is a fairly handy attribute for an outside player.

If we get Allan or Hollands or someone else so be it . I'm more than happy to back Austin. But I am comfortable that barring injury Hollands will be a very good AFL player.

Sorry for lurking but I just read that comment and I remembered saying basically the exact same thing on this board a year ago when you traded for Hewett. He just does his job and at the end of every game no one is ever thinking "wow, Hewett had a bad game". Hewett won't make the highlights reel but he never has bad games. He always does what is asked of him.
I didn’t know much about him when he arrived, but he very quickly became my favourite Carlton player RUNVS. And I don’t think it’s any accident that we lost those four games in the run-in to the finals while he was out injured. He’d be a dream to coach.

Yep.

Whatever job he is given, whether it be inside mid, pure tagger or tagger who needs to hold a player to account by attacking as well Hewett will do it, won't complain at all and will do the job well.

I miss him at the Swans. Very underrated, even amongst Swans fans.

Can you believe Kane Cornes said last year he did not think Hewett would be in your best 22?

Jefferson’s my first choice at our first pick, I hope he’s off the board at our pick so I’m not shattered if we don’t take him and he goes onto be something really good back and/or forward

Out of interest, if we did draft Hollands, is there any chance he plays half back next year and allows Doc or Saad to push into the midfield?
We will be trying to fit Docherty, Saad, Williams, Newman, Boyd, McGovern, Marchbank maybe Kemp and not to forget some people’s favourite Plowman on the flanks and pockets. What is your answer?

I’m just saying, that Hollands himself says he played half back at times this year. His versatility is also meant to appeal to us. He wouldn’t have a mature body yet. So… does he possibly allow others with more experience into the midfield while he settles into the team?

If we draft Hollands, he would be part of the wing rotations, especially with a 5 man bench
