I'm sure it's been mentioned and without going through all the past posts....but I was thinking yesterday...how shit was powa in 2007 to lose by such a big margin? Yesterday's game was boring pathetic one sided game, Sydney looking sooo bad. But that 2007 powa game was so much worse.... And powa supporters tried to say 2017 was bad to give them some comfort. Yesterday's game though put 2007 way back into perspective for them.

Be interesting. Hard to justify the narrative for keeping it at the MCG for tradition if you move it to a night grand final.

The shit we were copping around here during 2017 was way overblown. Richmond proved themselves to be the real deal. GWS, Dogs and Sydney were all worse in their GF appearances too.

When you look at this....... 119 is going to be etched into history for the next 100 years.
No team will even come close.
Look at todays absolute debacle of a GF.....and 119 was another 7 goals away.....

Interesting that the Swans attacking style significantly improved as a result of Pyke being employed as an assistant coach..
Also of note is how the Swans completely lost structure and the game plan went to water on gf day.

Really makes you wonder why we get such stick for 2017. We were winning half way through the second quarter and missed a couple easy chances.

grinds my gears that our own supporters claim that our guys didn't turn up. We were just out run, which if you look at our 22 it's not surprising. We had no flexibility to enable us to get some different guys around the contest. And then for those coaches to lay the entirety of blame at player mental weakness, **** off campaigners.

No but McLelland winners don't always win the GF and the lack of a neutral venue means I don't have to pay much attention to anyone calling us favourites.

And Richmond forced us wide on the MCG, which we weren’t used to, meaning by the time we recentred the ball they’d got their defenders back.

Happened all day long because they’d played there all year and we hadn’t. Huge advantage to them
