Also, I disagree. I've only been on the Swans boards for a couple of off-seasons, but fans always say something or someone big is around the corner.
I just don't think there's any evidence for it, nor that we can land them like we used to. It's not impossible, just less likely these days.
Think we're better off controlling what we can, taking both 1st rounders to the draft this year, and not putting our hopes on something that probably won't happen, just like it didn't with Moore, Barrass, Dusty, JDG, Logue etc etc.

I'm very thankful we didn't get Logue and his bloated contract at least. Moore would have been the big one to get unfortunately he stayed. I agree with you, back the system but next year feel we do attack the trade more

Had a listen to Kinnear Beatson’s interview. Looks like my advocacy for Sam Naismith might end up failing. He used the word “brutal”.

That is because our list management strategy changed with the 2016 draft and since then we have basically stuck to it.
I am rather happy with the progression we have made from 2017 to now.

He said he remains “on hold” and just said something like the game can be brutal at times. Similar wording around previous injury riddled delistings.
