Down in Frankston I believe. Just I need to find out the time. I'm sure the afl will release the details at some point this week

Collingwood picks 42, 46 & 47 = (395 + 331 + 316) = 1,042 points
Brisbane pick 17 = 1,025 points
Gold Coast picks 34, 43 & 44 = (542 + 378 + 362) = 1,282 points
Essendon picks 21 & 39 = (878 + 446) = 1,324 points [Essendon may think that pick 17 comes in before Davey F&S pick]
Geelong picks 30, 48 & 51 = (629 + 302 + 259) = 1,190 points

Unfortunately for us there will be multiple clubs looking to get Brisbane's first rounder so they would just go with the highest points value.

Donā€™t the Lions have a 2nd player who might attract a bid? If so, does that impact what picks theyā€™d entertain in a trade?

Add Aaron Cadman to the list of Key Fwd's to keep an eye on.

Having a good season and played well for Vic Country on the weekend just gone.

a handful of the Key Fwd options that we can look out for in this years 18's champs carnival.

So much hubris at the club in terms in how it rates our list, always go in to trade week that we are expecting to finish high and hence under value future picks.
Donā€™t think they were under any illusions of the weakness of list
But they needed the points to cover a Daicos bid at 1 and also for Lipinski and Kreuger trades

Mate they could of done the trade live and got a much better result.
Krueger and Lipinski were VFL players who couldn't break into their teams best 22.
Krueger and 55 had for 41.
Lipinski for 43.

If you think the club couldn't get those deals done by other avenues or picks you're kidding yourself.

Pick 2 if even needing to be traded would of landed a much bigger pick bundle then what we got.
Club should of had a wait and see approach. They 100% thought they would finish higher and I'm talking around the 8 mark.

Treloar trade was the same they expected the 2nd first round would be in the teens.

Most our multiple 2nd swaps were done expecting late 2nds.

I just vomited a little in my mouth when I read that, there it is Hines favourite type of forward jack of all trades master of none KPF Ruck...
Yep sort of Leigh Brown type.

Stolen from the Bigfooty Mid Season(ish) Phantom Draft:
PICK 20 - RICHMOND TIGERS - OLIVER NORTHAM - GEELONG FALCONS - RUCK/FWD - 196CM - 90KG

I see Oliver playing as a utility at AFL level, playing down forward or being swung down back if needed. With his style of kicking (a better long straight kick than short, although even his short kicks are not that bad) i would prefer for the rest of the NAB league season that he play out of the fwd line exclusively as that is where i see his best footy coming from. He is athletic, is a good mark, wins hitouts and kicks goals. He tackles with intent and follows up his own ruck work leading me to think those skills would be perfect down fwd.... contest, take the mark or bring it to ground, tackle if need be or kick the goal, he has those AFL traits and it will be interesting to see which way his career goes. He does look for the better option and is not a selfish individual player but back himself in set shots on goal. Looking forward to see where he lines up in the champs this year.

Totally agree. After we lost Treloar, Stephenson and Phillips we traded out our 1st like is was worth pick 15-20. Did the same when we traded in Treloar.

It would be interesting to track how kids described as ruck/forward go in the AFL. I suspect success rate would be very low.
