Cadman doing some good things. Loving the number of key forward types that are in the draft this year.
Really keen to get some more picks into the first or second round.

Cadman looked good at Frankston last week. Obviously a fair bit shorter than Lemmey and Scully but looked a likely prospect. A second pick in the 10-20 range might get him

Is Scully a forward at the top level? He moved well in that academy game (first I’d seen of him) just not King level. My concern would be his frame and what a mature AFL body does for that movement as a KPF. At that height his reach is a massive point of difference if he can play forward and has decent hands.

A fair bit of shifting will occur based on second half of the year performances, but it doesn't sound like there is a KPF that you can be really confident about, and if there was we wouldn't have a high enough pick anyway. If we end up with a top 10 pick and really want KPF, I'd be looking to trade it down for two in the teens to try to get two out of Keeler, Cadman, Jefferson or anyone else likely to be in that range. Or one KPF and another player type.

I'd love to see Scully play at SANFL level to see how he goes against mature opponents. It's hard to gauge just how well he's going when he's a giant beanstalk beating up on u18s. I sometimes think they purposely keep them away so it doesn't hurt their draft chances if they don't perform at the higher level. Maintains the mystique. It adds extra risk to whoever ends up taking him really banking on the upside.

192cm mid/fwd Mattaes Phillipou, apparently had an incredible game yesterday and a lot are saying he’s the best SA product. I know we have been talking a lot about KPP only, but this kid is intriguing me greatly and he’s becoming the one I want to see the most of at The Champs.

Never said he was shit, he’s not worth big $. Where did I say he was shit? If a club say north offered him big $, we’d get a compo pick if my understanding. Never said we’d get two picks for him, I meant we’d have our own plus whatever compo.
