Is there a piece of the list still missing any more?
I honestly feel like I'd be happier if Paddy was relisted now. I could forgo a guaranteed spot in the MSD to have the great man back again.
We could use another small forward. Was hoping we'd take Jaiden Magor today. Ah well.

I think aussierulesrules mentioned it but it took some guts to take Van Es with the first pick and then hold out for Hotton. It was the opposite way that most of us would have done it but they landed it. And then the Keeler pick. The fact we gave up nothing from next year is awesome. Carlton have no second rounder now next year. Hawks gave up second and third round picks.

There was luck involved with the boys that fell to us but they played it beautifully.

Heath should be getting ready to go as a part time forward part time ruck for at least a couple of games in an emergency. At his height and size should be able to draw enough of the defence that Sharman or membrey can be the focal point again
I honestly think Moose will become a player but I'd be very surprised if it was in 2023.

I can't believe how much Hawthorn have given up with very little to show for it

O'Meara, Mitchell, 27, F2, F3

You'd think they would have had a massive draft haul, instead it just looks like an average draft for them
Didn't the Cats do something similar during the trade period?
I think perhaps later picks have just declined in value over recent times.

What did they do similar?

I would call 2x picks in the 20's later picks

Geelong receives a second-round pick (currently No.25)FROM: BRISBANE LIONS

Brisbane receives a second-round pick (currently No.38), two third-round picks (currently No.48 and No.55), a future second-round selection and a future fourth-round selectionFROM: GEELONG CATS

I still want another KPF as our problem was never getting the ball in, it was doing things in the F50 worth a damn.

Members is a third, that buggers off when we struggle defensively.
Cooper is a third but rotated back.
Ming is KPF.
Keeler is literally a baby.
Battle was a third now a defender.
Hayes is overage and coming off an ACL as ruck chop out option.
Heath was & is a baby with no real exposed form.

We are essentially one Ming injury away from thirds and firing blanks or hoping for a baby to be brilliant, outside of Ming I kinda disliked our F50 set up since as soon as Members elasticity goes, we are cactus and everyone knows it which is why Ming gets 3 teamed and why we looked oh so great when Hayes was running and leading and oh shit ACL.... how about Higgins doing it instead.... more skilled Kent option.

I love that we got Keeler and got someone else KPF orientated, I hope to high hell we don't shove him at CHB and I am very worried that we'll find some way to kill the F50 some more.

That was to get a pick for Ollie Henry form memory?

The most they gave up was either 38 or the future 2nd which will likely land around the same mark.

For Ollie Henry that seems fair enough.

They also didn't trade out two of their best players for very little and were able to bring in pick 7

I'm not sure of the context around it, l just thought the points system prevented this kind of stuff.

Hawks gave up their F4 too!

Well done by all concerned

Just a side observation but did I see Gubby Allan sitting in as a part of our recruiting team? Didnt know he was still part of the club?

The other was Trout Elshaugh was a part of the Essendon team. Made me laugh after he destroyed so many drafts at the Saints. Essendon deserve him....🤣
Omfg that explains everything that happened with Essendon at the draft - it was Elshaug.
Fair dinkum, if it was raining **** he'd get hit by an arseh*le.
The guy is the f**king Kiss of Death. Put us back a decade.

Wilkie too. Crouch and Howard technically.
If not including Crouch and Howard as they aren’t technically “from” SA, but either is Sharman.
He went over to SA to play on a comp when the Vic comps were compromised by Covid. He’s from Riverina region, NSW
