My player comps I always try and get these as accurate as possible and I think they say quite a bit. Understand that this is purely stylistic and not reflective of actual performance level.

They've made some interesting choices with some of those.
Some big slides by Allen and Konstanty

Fcuk this go home factor. Sick of it

Just look at what this guy had to do to follow his dream.

Heard him speaking on the radio one day. When he went to Europe he couldn't even understand the language.

Phillipou.

a) If he wants home , demand 2 first rounders.
b) He's from Adelaide, he may change his mind about wanting to go home.

He looks good, but i think it would be a stretch to take him with our first , and he'll be gone by our second.
Maybe if all of Mackenzie, Humphrey and Poo are gone, and we don't want to take Buslinger.

I have concerns over his ability to move in and out of stoppages. Simmilar to the concerns I had over Aiden Bonnar. Young kids need to be able to get in and out or it makes it a lot more difficult.

My concern about The Poo (and about Humphrey) is that they have been mid/tall leading forwards who have become midfielders in part.

In a similar vein to tall mids who started life as tall defenders, like Hustwaite.

While tall midfielders are very much in vogue, I prefer when they were natural midfielders who simply grew a lot - like Cripps and Bont - rather than ones we’re trying to make into mids.

We’ve all seen how often the kids drafted who had spent most of their time at half back “who’ll they develop into midfielders” actually get there.

Fair call although I do think it often depends on which team these guys drafted to and how they’re developed.

Forwards seem better in that regard than defenders.

I feel that forwads are better in that sense at least. Phillipou could maybe not develop into a full time mid which would suck but he's also got the potential to play a Isaac Heeney role as well. Mid/Forwards just seem to be able to impact games a lot more than those back/mids from what I've seen

And also we don't have a glut of small forwards, but we have plenty of HBF.

Fyfe was drafted as more of a forward than a mid.

I think Phillipou has shown more than enough to show he's one of the best mids in the draft. It's not as though he's just been thrown in for a few games, he's played most if the year in the midfield, averaging 28 and 4.5 clearances.

He also had something like 18 CP's in one of the champs games.

He's only 5 days off being too young for this year's draft crop so it's probably not a huge surprise he didn't make a move into the middle until this year.

Unless McKenzie is there I'll be gutted if we pass on him. I'm surprised he's not being talked as a top 6 prospect from what I've seen tbh.

It looks like we'll be lucky if we have a choice.

Most likely it will be whoever is left out of Phillipou , Mackenzie, and Humphrey in the order of likelyhood.
If we are really unlucky they'll all be gone, and we'll need to choose between Buslinger or a mid who's a lot further down the confidence ladder.

Really intriguing prospect, this kid.

Pretty recent soccer convert, and very recent forward (he’s been playing in the ruck), but kicked 37 goals in the SANFL U18s between Rounds 1 and 7.

Draft range of 40-60

Could be a steal with our 4th pick

Him Munkara and D'Aiola have all dropped off the radar a bit. We seem to like our SA boys.

Someone possibly takes a flyer on him in the second.

Enormous boom potential, but equal bust potential.

All aboard the Poo train. Kids going to be a star. Reminds me of Patrick Cripps. Has the swagger too
