Am I missing anything here? Because on paper this is beginning to worry me.

Lobb - Wife is based on Victoria
Henry - spot in best 22
Acres - money
Logue - wants to play back and cash
Meek - wants to play AFL.
Tucker - wants to play AFL
No big losses amongst all 6, but they do need replacing.
My question is where is Henry going to get B22 minutes anywhere else in the league? Essendon? GWS?
Yeah I know when you spell it out it doesn't seem that bad, but 6 is a lot of players to ask for a trade. Perfect storm I guess.

If he genuinely wants out for more opportunities, then I've underestimated how much he wants a free ride and therefore will not make it at the top level. We all saw the intensity tonight. He's currently incapable of going at 70% of that.

Probably Colin young playing out negotations through the media again. He has two years left, if Freo trade him now its rock bottom value. Thayll hold.

I think Lobb is realistically the only one we can't replace out of the 6 wanting out (Even then, I'm sure if you're really optimistic you could say a fully fit Taberner in the forward line would be great, even if that probably won't happen again). Logue's spot in the forward line can go to a Treacy or a Sturt or even Fyfe for a full year if he can't play midfield, realistically need a developing backman from the draft however
Acres is incredible and will be a big loss but we have NOD and Aish who are perfectly fine as B22 wingmen. Young and Chappy could both move there too.
Tucker wouldn't get a game for us next year anyway, Henry hasn't exactly shown the talent he has yet and Meek while serviceable is better off playing elsewhere. It will look bad on paper but I don't know how much effect it will actually have on our team quality wise

If you consider Lobb is 29 or 30, Acres has played one good season, Logue can't play in his best position, and the rest are not best 22 then it may give a chance to have some draft picks to improve our forward line.
Surely if that many go out, then we bring someone else in other than Jackson.
You're probably right, I'm just hoping there isn't something brewing underneath.

Gives a chance to look at picks and trade in KPF elsewhere.
Meek has been developing nicely have to say, which sucks.
Acres I still think will stay. Just a better deal.
Logue, Tucker, Meek, Lobb isn’t a major loss. The problem is Lobb and having Amiss to be fast tracked

Henry probably just signaling through his manager that he wants a spot in the best 22 next year or he'll start to look elsewhere, Not much in that don't think.
Have to keep Logue. Pretty sure he wants a spot down back, that's the only thing keeping him from signing
If Lobb and Acres leave at least they've had career years this year so we should be able to sell high. Obviously wanna keep them but wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they decided to leave

Hopefully it's just unlucky timing if anything. I think Tucker and Meek realistically could have (and maybe should have?) requested trades last year when they were out of contract and Lobb has wanted out for a year now. All 3 of them are pretty unsurprising. The Logue and Acres moves are concerning but the reasoning is there and makes sense at the very least

Given half the names are contracted, they are going nowhere. We simply aren’t trading that many out.
