One would think he would be spending some time with the girlfriend, strange if he didn’t. But it’s time for these media types to make issues about everything. Yes I know Lobb is leaving it’s just that this is such a non story with a thousand more to come.
Plus the team had relocated to Melbourne for the duration of the finals.

Ahh, wondering how long it would take you to reply. Seeing you like every post thst disagreed with me, after I called you out for acting like a pork chop shows how triggered you are.

Couldn't give the slightest toss about you or your clique mates.

Nice to see you gather enough backup to finally puff your chest out though, squib.

So if we lose Acres, Logue and Lobb, where does that leave us next season?
Three less Young managed players is a great thing.

Short term it isn’t great losing Lobb but Treacy and Amiss can fill his output in 2 years.

We have too many good key backs and losing Logue won’t hurt.

Acres is a loss but we have enough youth to fill his role in 2 years.

All in all, it’s frees cap space, gives opportunities to our developing youth and maybe improves other positions.

Lots of negative chat over the last few days.

At the beginning of the year a lot of people would have been happy trading Lobb, Logue and Acres. They all had better years than expected and at least now we going to get more currency from them.

We have some genuine guns who are still improving. Brayshaw, Serong and Young. Young i'm particularly excited about. This was his first full season.

We should also get significant improvement out of Chapman (was firing before he got injured), Clark (first full season), NOD (first year player) and Walker and Freddy will improve (both who are still learning the game)

Amiss has showed a lot but may take a few years to hit his peak.

Ryan, Cox, Pearce are all solid and hopefully maintain their form.

Darcy looked like he was carrying something all year and looking forward to him getting back to his 21 form.

Switta needs to stay fit and shultz more consistent.

Brodie is a good depth player and hopefully another preseason and more games under his belt will go to another level.

We know what we get with Aish and he provides us with flexibility.

That's 17 very good young players already cemented in our best 22.

Throw in Jackson, Raz, Johnson a fully fit Treacy and Sturt that's a good starting 22 for many years to come.

Cream for next year will come from fully fit Fyfe, Walters and Taberner

If Worner or Henry come on that will be a bonus and hopefully we pick up one or two steals in the trade / draft period

This leaves the likes of Wilson, Hamling, Banfield and Colyer as depth...

Futures bright!

Personally I think the ideal match for Amiss and Treacy is Lobb.

The best defender must take Lobb. Before he impacts the game that is already a win of sorts. Unless he is our only realistic target that is.
Yeah I don't disagree. I was thinking a bit more long term and assuming that Lobb was gone, which let's face it, is rather likely.

I hope and imagine the club has been in Georgiades ear. The prospect of picking up an uncontracted Georgiades at the end of next year is very tempting. Cannot hurt to grab him. Personally, I would have him ahead of Treacy in terms of talent, I understand others (perhaps with some purple tinted glasses) might reasonably disagree.

With Lobb gone and Tabs aging, I'm not comfortable with putting all our eggs in the Amiss and Treacy basket. Long term we need another tall forward prospect and Georgiades is an attractive option, he plays taller than the 192cm he's listed at. At the very least it would create a bit of pressure for spots in the forward line.

It is by no means an ideal match but Jackson, Georgiades and Amiss could be a great set up.

29 posts in and the sock puppet is already posting screen caps of private messages. Narrows the culprit down to one of our more impatient regular trolls.
I've made decent posts about footy for the most part, and held my ground against bullies and trolls. You on the other hand have made multiple troll comments about me.

Take a look in the mirror before you call someone a troll.

It's looking like a short stay.
I'm proud of the comments I've made about and stand by them 100%.

I've reported the abuse to mods, who have done nothing about it, and accused me of inciting people.

I'd like to share my opinions about footy here, as I have a lot to give, but given the toxic culture of this place, it will be a small loss if the mods don't step in and draw the line with the abuse and bullying.

Seems Lobb will be gone, and I wish Jackson could take his forward workload.

Also interested to see how Kuek can go. A longshot but who knows, he may step up.

Eagles won a flag with Hansen and Lynch as key forwards.

Treacy and Amiss seem very capable to match or better those two.

Couldn’t agree more.

We are controlling our cap and giving opportunities for developing talent.

This group is here for at least a 7 year window.
