Again, your claim of VFL dominance isn't particularly warranted (they have had good spells, not dominance). And that is fine given we have some top end talent on the way out in Sidebottom (perhaps this season) and Pendlebury (next season). Not to mention uncertainty regarding the future of De Goey and to a lesser extent Elliott.
Oh Sidey is retiring this year and we almost certainly have to get rid of De Goey imo but Pendles is staying til 400 but even then we have Draper who would be fully recovered by next year and we also have McInnes to play

Just like Noble didn’t get a game for us?

All the talls you wanted were gone by our pick, so unless you have a time machine and can go back to leg a few of our players and get some more losses, you’ll just have to accept that we’re not getting any talls until the ND.
Noble filled the flank position cause iirc Landgon had that spot and he was a walking hospital

Do your best 22 for next year I wanna see it (for a position we draft just write draftee)
What’s the point of doing a best 22 for next year when we have no idea how anyone is going to develop in the next few months? Stop trying to deflect, if you seriously can’t see anyone in our current 22 Carmichael could potentially replace them you’re not looking hard enough.

Maybe Tyler Brown he can replace but Macrae needs to get games otherwise we lose him or maybe even we lost Poulter or Bianco

Who goes out for Carmichael?
Have you looked at our injury list this year? It's been only talls all year, yet we've still been playing a Brown every week. It's a bloody good thing that we haven't had injuries to our mids and flankers this year, because add 4 of our depth players in those roles and we'd be uncompetitive.

Still very happy Carmichael slipped through to 9

Good age demographic
Fills that big body inside mid requirement
Good scope for improvement given limited footy pathways

Let’s face it - he could still be Kyle Martin level - but I am optimistic he will be a good addition

But again we have Macrae and McInnes knocking on the inside mid selection and for some reason our ******ed asses are playing a back flanker mid and a mid forward flanker

You realise having a surplus of young talent vying for positions is a strength, not a weakness right? The more the better.

"we almost certainly have to get rid of De Goey imo" - hmmmm, how'd you come up with this one?

I also used to think that every kid we recruit was going to be a gun and improve us...

Actually, did I ever think that?
