Training 2022 Pre-season

Over 40 goals in his first full season in 4 years was a great achievement. Very excited to see what he can do with a second preseason under his belt!
Yep. Playing every single game last season would have been huge for his confidence. Spending so long out of the game injured, l would have thought just getting through the season and getting runs in your legs is a success (Much like Cocky, getting him through the season so he can have a proper pre-season this year - which seems to have payed off because he is looking ripped)

Not sure why it so hard to believe a slow plodding mid would potentially be replaced with a more dynamic type that can hit the scoreboard. If Zorko is to spend less time in the midfield we do lose a bit of spark within that rotation, that will need replacing. Stingrays video.

I think this is right. I also think his flexibility shouldn't be discounted. It looks to me that he could play at least 4 roles and potentially more. Medium forward, medium defender, wing and tall mid. At reserves level, 190cm is also enough to hold down a KPP too (eg Lester).

I'm also wary of pigeon holing a player for a single role when they come into the AFL system. Plenty of players have been groomed into a new role that better suits their attributes at senior level.

It is, but I wonder why we never tried to get Jack Hayes, who can play KPP and midfield.
I assume for the same reason as 17 other clubs never drafted him, until a couple of weeks ago (and I say that as someone who has always liked Hayes as a mature aged prospect).

Rayner will take the competition apart this year. Looks like Rich may have a hammy or some such. Madden injured too (?). Next week at The Burp.
Do you know the time this is set down for?
The only thing i could find was dated a few weeks ago on the Moreton Bay Lions Facebook page
They just mentioned around 3pm.
Any information would be appreciated

I was told 4, but 3 may well be right. Reliable information is not easily come by at this time.

Thanks
Might plan on arriving at 3.15 and bring a book in case it is 4pm
Something might pop us in the next hour or so
Maybe they don't like us taking photos of their whiteboard team:)

could be a combination. they could be arriving around 3, which is why the MB Lions had that time, but match sim starts at 4. Majority of the sims have been around that 4pm i'm pretty sure.
Yes the previous 2 were at 4pm in 2 Brisbane suburbs of Zillmere & Morningside
The only difference is Moreton Bay Sports Complex Burpengary is not a Brisbane suburb so more travel time involved for players

He's not 190. This article says he's 181.

A BREATHING coach who has worked with the Golden State Warriors and Navy Seals has been added to the Brisbane Lions' support staff for the 2022 season.

Known as 'The Athlete Whisperer' in sports circles, Rachel Vickery, who has also worked closely with NRL teams Melbourne Storm and Sydney Roosters, will be focusing on improving Lions players' breathing as a means to combat fatigue and stress in big moments.

Was planning to arrive at 3, but thanks to nOrFsIdE tRaFfIc will be lucky to get there by 4. :poutingcat:
4pm will be fine.
My google maps sent me via North pine dam and through places I have not been to before. Still took 65 minutes from Everton park. Usually just 35 minutes

I'd like a breathing coach for us fans watching those games too please. Can't be good for my health the way I get excited sometimes....
