Pre-season, reckon we were probably looking at 3-3 by end of round six. Even that would have been a decent effort.

I thought it was one of his best games kicks and hand balls where good took some marks didn’t win but broke even in the ruck
Pitto doesn’t jump as high but follows up like Kruzer blasts a path for the mids to feed of
Dekoning needs to learn to follow through after his leap and take some oppo mids out

TDK was genuinely excellent. Had the ball 17 times, which must be close to a record for him, took marks and had 15 hit outs. Nothing like his game against Witts.

Definitely think it’s time for Doc to move up the ground, especially with Stocker returning.

We don’t have much else in the twos. LOB is what he is.

What stats are you looking at,average rebound 50, effective kicks, effeciency, and Contested defence lose of 40%, compared to AFL average of defenders between 20 and 30% Williams is at 44.4%, so that is up there with him

Through the AFL app? Not sure if the pictures will work tbh, but if so he has been rated highly in a lot of key metrics.

I was all set for a cracker of a game for a Saturday night and we just didn't show up at all.

Cripps, Saad, Doc were very good. Thought Cerra was ok but not damaging enough.

Unfortunately Setters & Fisher need a spell. Not good enough.

Boyd has been thrown to the lions for his first few games so he gets a pass from me. Atleast you can see the effort from him.

Would have like to see changes made earlier. Maybe Young into the ruck, Charlie down back.

Young did go into the ruck didn’t he?? if I was seeing correctly - that didn’t work either

Setterfield also went Into the ruck as well. That wasn’t pretty

I’ll say it again - Cottrell and Newnes are our weakest links through the flanks. If they survive next week. Then we aren’t serious. McKay, Durdin, Owies and Parks had shockers. Fisher quite - but did not get any run through the midfield today, why?

Young is showing a bit. Pittonet, JSoS and Kennedy bigger losses then we thought. Crippa, Walsh, Docherty, Saad, Hewett and Cerra busted a gut. DeKoning better agains bigger ruckman. Thank goodness for Charlie.

Let’s see how Voss reacts this week. I believe Kemp, Williamson and Stocker the best in the VFL. Hopefully Kennedy and JSoS back next week.

Decades of shite have exponentially increased our ability to run away with ourselves, but have done very little for our ability to think rationally about where we've been and where we're headed.

Score line absolutely flattered us, had a 10 goal smell to it, flogged horribly in the key areas you need to be a good side, reality check?

Been exposed not only by our strengths and weaknesses but besides some best22 players missing there is a bunch of players that aren’t truly up to it and won’t/shouldn’t be part of our best22 for different reasons if we are going to climb to a position to contend…

After the first 4/5 weeks we at least showed and applied for parts of our games some great attacking football along with some of the required pressure that we are capable of, tonight along with the Suns loss has given us a clear indication that the game plan and along with particular personal atm are a bit off where we would like to be…

Can we or do we have it in us to play at the level that will make us a team competitive enough to the standards that’s required????

Rip the bandaids off, let’s find out…
