That 3rd quarter brand of football was exhilarating.

Cripps monstered and Cerra sublimed.

But the growth and influence of TDK, Young, Fisher, LOB, Cottrell coming on as the sub, and even Boyd really took me to my happy place.

There’s some legitimate talent coming through the list.

if he were still injured like the last few years.

Man what a return. 25 goals in 8 games which is about 3 goals a game. Near the top of the Coleman medal.

Right now, we do still rely quite a bit on him and McKay marking everything and kicking bags. With them in our forward line, we are always a chance and can look downright devastating at times.

Agree with this. I would keep Durdin, and give Motlop a go in place of Owies for a few weeks see how he copes.

Motlop was pretty awful in the vfl last night

Dunno why the mids keep going for Owies as a marking target inside 50, as he’s average overhead & a fair chance to be outmarked.

These mids are silver service now & guys like H, Jack & Charlie are feasting off it.

Stay down for the crumbs son, there will be enough.

It’s not really a strong part of his game Stig, he’s not a traditional small forward that crumbs or has the ability to kick or create goals naturally…

He’s a player who works hard, knows how to find space, has a good crack and applies pressure, it’s certainly a part of his game that if he could improve on, it would definitely make him a far more dangerous player…
