With a loose screw, a hinge is all but useless; no matter how much glue you stick into the socket, it loosens again and again. That door is closed.

I'm not, I have knocks on every premo defender except Crisp, Short & Whitfield. I like Gibcus more than the consensus. I like his JS, his attitude and his likely 3rd tall spot. He may well be placed for a 3rd man up role, given his marking is already clearly above average. Joyce looked OK the other day to me. Should be a solid 60-70 average. 9 weeks at 65 gets him over $300k.

I reckon WC will play Joyce - he has grunt. he was so close, so often with the Lions, played thru pre-season etc. Naish has plenty of talent too, I was surprised he wasn't picked up before.
